Super cool neighborhood, really trendy lobby. We loved our stay- very anonymous but also helpful staff. It is weird that they only have 1 elevator for a large hotel.

Really comfy beds! Nice hot shower and great WiFi. I would stay here again!

Decent hotel in a nice area close to good food and shopping.

Great room, great price. Within walking distance of the lakefront with PLENTY of options for food and shopping. Close to the El, too.

Great hotel. Walked to Wrigley for game! Also rented bikes that were close by.

Our experience was great! We used the valet service for our car over night and we were very happy. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice.

This will be our go to hotel from now on in Chicago. We typically stay in the more tourist oriented areas but really liked that this is in a neighborhood. The location was ideal for the parts of Chicago we visit. Easy and more affordable to Uber around the neighborhood and then take the brown line at Diversy back downtown as needed. All the hotel staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Chris at the front desk went out of his way to assist us and the guests just in front of us. Was very impressed with the level of service.

Have stayed here several times. This room was laid out oddly and the toilet was amazingly high as in your feet couldn’t touch the floor. Shower was dismal. Have had good rooms. This room was not one of them.

Stayed only overnight, very nice room and friendly people. No restaurant inside, but the neighborhood is full of places, from pubs to a McDonalds. Loved the big screen TV in the room.

You needed a key get anywhere it was small and cluttered

Friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Room was small but very comfortable.

This is one of my go to locations in the city - convenient to so much, and reasonably priced. The update turned out really nice, adding a cheery vibe alongside a comfortable bed and room features. Outdated, still, are the difficult to find a comfortable temperature air/heat machines -- they don't sell these with a temperature gauge rather than "Lo" and "Hi"? -- and the $1 charge for local calls. Both feel very 1970s still. Overall, though: Well done! Worth the stay.

We loved staying here. We had stayed here previously when it was the Days Inn. The place has been upgraded with very interesting, fun decor. FYI. The rooms are small, especially the bathrooms. If you have experienced a typical New York hotel room...it's like that.

Great location near The Vic theater! Staff was so helpful! The room was perfect!

The hotel was clean, the staff pleasant but the rooms were ridiculously small. We had paid a bit extra, a rate that I would pay at a three and half or four star on prime Michigan Ave, so that we could have a slightly bigger room with a queen bed only to get a room barely bigger than the bed! It was difficult to manage your suitcase around it. The bathroom was equally small and in major need of renovation. The view... a rooftop and air conditioning unit. When we complained to the management they said to try again in the morning in case one of the larger rooms "we paid for" opened up for our second night. We were looking for a place to stay when visiting our daughter in Lincoln Park but I am afraid we will need to keep looking. Would not recommend.....should not be rated three stars.

Well appointed room with quaint bathroom fixtures. Great view of the busy intersection-406. Room is smaller than others I saw but cozy for one.

All in all, Hotel Versey was an excellent place to stay. They are still remodeling in some parts, but the room was comfortable, and the staff was excellent in every way. Will definitely be coming back. Hopefully, they will have a restaurant next time.

Everything you need within walking distance. Cool music always playing in lobby. Super friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. Better coffee setup in room would improve experience. All else is great!

great location. Decent aesthetic. Hard pressed to find any bottled water anywhere in the hotel. Was forced to drink tap...not the end of the world but seemed strange. They had a great KCUP espresso machine but no water? Seemed strange. KUMAS TOO burger joint a few doors down had incredible food.
