This hotel has the basics covered. Iron, hair dryer, mostly clean etc. but that's it. The walls in the room are mostly bare and stark. My floor freaked everywhere I walked on it. There is no breakfast included. It's just a place to rest your head, nothing more.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I checked in late and the pool was closing in 30 minutes I asked if I had time to take my bags to my room and still catch the pool before it closed and the young lady that checked me in said she would keep the pool open an extra hour so I could swim. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable.

The Handicapped bathroom was not designed for people with dissabilities

The room was nice and the staff was very courteous.

the tv was too small to srr acroos my large room otherwise it was very good but pricy.

I have at this hotel about 5 times during the year and it is consistently good. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, halls quiet and restaurant food and service good. Front desk people always go out of their way to accommodate any special requests I have had.

First of all there were several basic things missing from my room like a box of Kleenex and roll of toilet paper, also the halls and many areas of the hotel were extremely hot and felt like a sauna. I also used the main public restroom and found it to be a mess like no one ever really checked on it to ensure it was clean.

Stopped there on our way to Chicago. Perfect location and excellent value for the price. I will stop there again in the future.

Since the hotel has a restaurant, there is no complementary breakfast which sucks! When you don't have time for the restaurant, they should have something set up for the business traveler to be able to eat on the run. The room temp controls are nice, but bathroom was absolutely freezing! You had to prop the bathroom door open so it would warm up to room temp.

Hotel was fine for the intended purpose - a convenient clean place to spend the night, No real complaints. Seemed a little understaffed; we wanted to get a drink at the bar in the lounge and had to wait quite a while; there was one wait staff for both the bar and the restaurant.

Nice hotel. Very clean, and modern. the only complaint is that the front desk staff tends to disappear and you end up waiting for them for long periods of time before they come back to the desk to check in and check out. Other than that, great place!

very clean and nice

The hotel was little costly for the location.

It was very clean, a little small for our family but how big can it get with two queen beds in there? The room was clean they cleaned it every morning exept for one, not sure why. we didn't eat there.

Staff was nice, rooms were very clean, and location was great for access to highway.

Registration clerk was outstanding. Made you feel like she was genuinely happy you were there. Great Breakfast buffet. Perfect location for where we were going.

The Holiday Inn is located in Aurora within sight of I-88 on Orchard rd. Anything you could possibly need to go buy is within 3 miles or so. Target, Penney's,Petco and McDonalds to the North and Panera,Chili's,Buffalo Wild Wings and Home Depot to the South. There is a 7-11, Jiffy Lube and carwash just outside the hotel parking lot. We didn't use any of the amenities, so I can't report on that. The room was a bit larger than most, with lots of floor space on both sides of the King bed. There was the typical desk/chair workstation, but it also had a very comfy chair and ottoman as well. The large flat screen TV was sitting on a long dresser that was nice looking (we didn't use it). Two bedside tables with lamps, one didn't work (oh well)an alarm clock and phone. The room temp was a little warm for us, 77 degrees. I thought I had turned it down, but it must not have an override feature on it. There was a mini fridge, microwave and mini coffeepot. There was a full size closet with wooden hangers, a full size ironing board with an iron. The bathroom was nice as well. It had a walk-in shower, which was very nice, but would have been a problem if we had needed to bathe a child without a tub.Like I said, not a problem for us, but families should take note of this. This facility apparently accepts pets as there was a large dog across the hall that I heard a few times. This wasn't enough of a problem to need to change rooms though. All in all, I would stay in this hotel again when I am in the area.
