The hotel property is shabby. The furnishings are old, the carpet was old and dirty. I didn’t want to walk barefoot in the room. There was only one working lamp in the room. Plus, the pool was closed.

Clean but crumbling.

This property is very dated, and in poor repair. The furniture was scratched and very old. The bedding was stained. Paint was peeling off, especially in the bathroom. There was mold or mildew in the bathroom shower at the ceiling. Repairs to the walls and ceiling were terrible. We couldn't turn on the water in the shower, so we had to ask the staff for help. It was necessary to pull on the handle VERY hard. We were told that the front desk person, who checked us in, was supposed to tell us the water was extremely hard to turn on. But they didn't!

Very nice and helpful staff. The rooms were dated and we found lots of mystery stains.

We stayed for 3 nights/2 days and our room was never serviced. Housekeeping never came to make the room or empty the garbage. We didn't say anything the first day it happened and by time we got back to the hotel the 2nd day it was so late it wasn't really worth complaining. Would he been nice to come back to a clean room after a long day of hiking.

For the price of a one night stay, this is fine. A bit noisy but not too bad. The stairs were a bit scary for my dogs. I would've requested a bottom floor room, if I'd have known. Unfortunately, they did not have one available. Richie at the front desk was very nice and pleasant.

I was so surprised when open the door and sat on the bed. I'd been traveling thousands of mile and stay several motels. This is the best value! the room is clean. the mattress is firm (I personally prefer firmer bed). The room is well equipped with fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker (coffee, condiments of course), hair drier, etc. Wi-fi, flat screen TV, too. It was a pleasant experience although I just stay one night.

This is definitely a 2-star hotel but it was clean and inexpensive and served its purpose. I checked in after midnight and although it was inconvenient for the owner, he was quite nice about it. I'd stay there again.

on the route to the woods and short distance to restaurants and shops

Poll, wifi, jacuzzy, ice... it's was good i recommended.

We left the room early and came back around 10 pm to find our room was never cleaned or had fresh towels, very upsetting.

We drove down from SLC to attend the Shakespeare Festival. We just wanted a place to sleep between the last play and breakfast. The only thing we really needed was internet. The hotel is located right on Main Street, was clean, had decent internet, We checked in late, after the last play, and the staff was fast and efficient. No frills, just a clean, ordinary room in a good location for a super price. It met all our needs and we would stay there again.

Working in the area and this is the best hotel in the city for the money. The rooms are clean the staff is polite. Been staying in this hotel every week since June, and haven't found a better value anywhere else.

Good value for the money in Cedar City. Nothing fancy here but quiet and clean and easy in and out to the Shakespeare Theater site. Friendly staff and comfy beds.

We arrived early in the morning, staff was there to welcome us. We left a few hours later and it was awesome. The price was fabulous and the only thing not perfect was the free breakfast. Honey buns?

Hotel was a very decent price. However, the pool and spa were closed, hot breakfast was coffee and a small pastry, room was semi-clean (hairs and stuff on the bed). I would recommend if only staying a short period.

The room was very clean and if you got cold it didnt takelong to get the room warm. It was nice and cheap so I could focus more on spending time with my family doing shopping and eating and traveling and not have to worry that the cost of the room was going to slow us down. It was located right in the middle of everywhere we had to go and wanted to go so that was nice too. I would stay here again.

It was clean and quiet. No thrills, just a basic room. good price.
