The Magnussen is an older building, but well maintained. We have stayed here nearly every year for the past 7 years to attend the Shakespeare Festival. It's very reasonable price wise, walking distance to said festival, and the owner(s) (Mehda?) and staff are friendly, accommodating, and responsive. We will be staying here every year as long as we are attending the festival!

It’s an old hotel with quirky room layout. They keep it clean and staff is friendly. Full size refrigerator in the room is great if you’re on a long stay. It’s in the old downtown area of the city with many interesting shops and eateries. The price was the lowest in the area.

Second time I stayed at this hotel, it’s more like an INN. The staff is family owned and they keep their rooms nice. They offer refrigerator, microwave, large beds, cable TV, coffee maker and easy parking. It’s nice for a short stay.
