The WORST DAYS INN we have ever stayed in.. THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN AND SMELLED LIKE A DIRTY ASHTRAY. We would have left immediately after entering our room but was the middle of the night and we really needed the sleep. WE SLEPT ON TOP OF COVERS BECAUSE THE ROOM WAS OVERALL DIRTY:(
Every time I come here I'm treated like a somebody, if I have a problem they'll will go out of there way to help me.
Check in was OK but when I checked out the bill was much higher than I thought it was going to be. I must have missed the room price when I checked in. Breakfast was one of the worst of any Days Inn I have stayed in. Far from standard breakfast item offerings
My room was fairly clean when I arrived but smelled moldy. The next day I woke up to see a large cockroach walking across the floor. I killed it and decided to leave that day. Never again will I stay at a Days Inn.
We came here for a baseball tournament and by the second day we checked out and went elsewhere. There were bugs in some of the rooms, the rooms were dirty, one of the parents bed was broken, our ac broke and only kicked on if you tapped it and the pool is considered a joke. Needless to say the whole team checked out of the hotel room early to go somewhere else within the same vicinity and for the same price the place was cleaner and had a real pool and amazing breakfast. Very disappointed
Typical average hotel, service good, staff helpful, conveniently located near eateries and major highway, a/c kept the room cool, bathroom was clean, plenty of towels. Breakfast was ok if you are looking for something to grab-go, anything more than that Shoney's, Waffle House and Cracker Barrel are close by.
Do you know the smell you get when you first open up a cabin after its closed for months? That's what we got when we entered. We were getting off the highway for a break from a bad lightning/rain storm while heading to FL. Got one of the last rooms cheap and did not want to venture out to leave or beg for room change. The bathroom was so tiny, the door almost hit the toilet. Also, the room was in need of repair with cracks in vanity and split in the bathroom door paneling which was hard to open and shut since it stuck. Breakfast pretty simple with coffee weak.
We were passing through on our way to Florida and we knew the property from staying there at least 5 times before. I reserved a room at least 3 weeks before and I requested the first floor, towards the front, king size bed, handicap if available. I was very specific as I always am and I had no issues in the past. I arrived and firstly the room was on the second floor with double beds. I am pretty reasonable, however, I could see the hotel was full and I'm sure the room meant for us was given to someone else that came in with a group and needed to be adjoining, etc. They did not tell me this, however, it was easy to tell from the look on the front desk clerk who then proceeded to call the young man who was the manager on duty. They found a room for us and we settled on double beds because that was the only thing available on the 1st floor. The room was clean, TV had cracks on the screen and the cable had a lot of snow. WiFi was weak and that's if you were able to connect. Had one set of towels and rather than continue complaining, we settled in for the night and left very early in the morning. We did not have breakfast and have already decided we will not return. The hotel is reasonably priced, we just did not have a positive experience and there are other hotels close by.
We normally avoid Days Inn because they are not very good. This one breaks the rules!! It's great!! The staff went above and beyond. This includes the owner all the way down to the housekeeping staff!! The beds were comfortable. More TV stations than you need, including movies. The rooms were very clean. Wireless internet was solid. Plenty of places to eat close by. Highly recommend this Days Inn.
The staff were helpful getting me checked in and the room was clean The shower was fully working and there was lots of hot water. I would complain about the TV signal but when a monster thunderstorm rolls in the dish goes out. Very nice stay.
