Residence Inn by Marriott Buffalo Galleria Mall

This place is an absolute dump, the rooms are dated, dirty and mouldy. As a Marriot rewards member I booked this hotel weeks in advance, upon arrival, they checked us into a handicapped suit, my 6 year old daughter couldn't reach the toilets and struggled to get into the high bed. Absolutely not acceptable. Save your money, stay elsewhere, it's the quality of a motel 6 here and not a Marriot. Marriot should be ashamed, I travel nationally, stay in there hotels and other hotels often. They should be ashamed of this property and their staff.

Very nice hotel -- clean, good service. Plus, it's in a good location (lots of restaurants and shopping close by). Breakfast the next morning was good (continuously restocked by the attendants. We will return.

Two veterans traveling with a service dog each. The hotel staff welcomed all of us! Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and checked us in efficiently. There was plenty of available parking. The breakfast bar was hot, plenty of choices.

We had no idea how big our room was gonna be when we arrived at the Residence Inn in Buffalo. We arrived and Jim behind the desk was very nice and helpful. He got us checked in quickly and we got in our room to find all the amenities you'd need for an excellent stay. Two very private rooms each with a bathroom and a nice living room. Tv's in each room, full fridge and oven. The beds were so soft I took a quick nap and it was amazing. This hotel is near a ton of bars, restaurants, Starbucks, etc. Right near the highway too. It was a great stay and very accommodating.

This is the best hotel ever made. It is so very fancy, spacious, clean, and well-managed. The room was quiet and had a beautiful view. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you, Residence Inn Buffalo Galleria Mall.

This is our second time staying at this Residence Inn, and it was just as impressive as first time. The location is great. You can walk to Starbucks, Target and many other retail shops and restaurants. The Galleria Mall is a very quick drive down the street, and anywhere you want to go in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area is a convenient drive. It's a beautiful place with a nice indoor pool and hot tub (great for relaxing and great for the kids) and the rooms are all either one bedroom or two bedrooms suites, complete with a full kitchen...everything you need including the kitchen sink! Nice living room area and eating area (table for two). The sofa is a sleeper sofa and there are two tvs...one in the living room area and one in the bedroom. No fighting over the remote! The bed was super comfortable, so we got some good sleep. Every staff member is awesome...very professional, courteous and helpful. Lastly, the breakfast is amazing! More continental breakfast choices than most hotels I've been too plus the waffle maker and a couple hot dishes as well...either eggs and sausage or sausage, biscuits and gravy. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It's simply amazing and I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!

It was just a quick overnight stay, however it was a nice place to crash for the night. Staff was nice and friendly, it would be a wonderful long term stay. If I had looked up more about the hotel before my trip, I would have brought my swim suit! Turns out the pool is open 24 hours. I love the apartment style room layout. That would be perfect for working all week away from home. Would stay here again.

this was a great place to stay last year and probably will go again this year. excellent distance to the mall, Burlington and other shopping. It was a little hard to find but we did find it. it's a pretty average stay. the boys (3 teens) loved the basketball court.

I have stayed at this location many times however this will be the last until renovations are done. The hotel is showing wear & tear and needs a refresh badly. The sofa was stained, worn out & when the sofa bed was opened there was a bunch of food on the floor under it. When I let them know at the front desk the next morning they said you should have called us & we would have looked after it, well it was midnight so that wasn't an option. The sofa bed mattress is completely worn out and only comfortable if you like to feel the springs poking you. The mattress on the queen bed is also worn out & needs to be replaced. You sink into the arm chair because it is worn out and you also sink into the chairs at the table. The bedding bag for the sofa bed only contained one sheet, I had to go to the desk for another, but first I had to wait for the dryer to finish so I guess they don't have a sufficient supply of linens for the hotel. The shower curtain was hanging by only a couple of the rings, I had to rehang some so that it could be used. Opened the cupboard to get a glass and there was only 1 non stemmed glass & I didn't look any further in the cupboards. This used to be one of my preferred places to stay in the area but I will not stay again until I know renovations have been made. And Jim at the front desk went on & on about how lucky we were that he was checking us in before the posted check in time. Really? That became annoying, any other hotel checks you in if the room is ready without making it sound like they're doing you a big favour.

I spent 12 nights here and had no complaints. It is amazingly quiet for the location, it had tons of restaurants, etc. nearby, and the access to the highway is super easy. Was the carpet fading in places? Yeah, maybe. But his place is really all I need with an equipped kitchen and friendly staff. The breakfast bar was quite good as well.
