Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll Island

Nice hotel room, great a/c, very comfortable. Good location and has a restaurant on property. The food and drinks are very good. The staff very nice and helpful.

Booking was easy...the hotel has been upgraded, but was handed over to untrained management and staff. Room too cramped for a king bed. Lay out and design of the room was terrible. AC blowing on your head while you slept. Open the door and immediately greeted by the dresser, fridge and TV console. I area designated as the closet was so narrow...good luck getting your suitcase and clothes in there. The floors were never cleaned, the staff seemed to always be rushed. Cleaning staff is insufficient or else lazy. The trash around the front door was never removed...until I could not stand it any more and removed it myself. Room needs a thorough cleaning...each of the 5 (yes 5) corners of the room had spider webs filled with dead insects. Door does not seal properly, as it allows insects to enter the room...at night many were attracted by the light escaping at the corners. The hotel map is very lacking...where is the work out facility, ice/vending, hotel restaurant? Overall this hotel claims to be a resort, but lacks the properly educated staff to make it a resort.

Loved the modern and clean look, nice amenities- fire pit at night- padded lounging chairs facing the ocean- the onsite restaurant was really good! I would choose this hotel again if we came back to the island.

My daughters and I had a great time. The motel was clean and fresh smelling. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I love that I can take my dog too. The view is great as is the food.

I really liked this hotel until I checked into my first room which had two dogs barking constantly for 15 minutes. I called down to the desk and Becky graciously moved me to another room away from THOSE two dogs. However, people staying in the hotel had no control of the dogs and the barking that kept me awake and woke me up at all hours. If a hotel is dog-friendly there needs to be some sort of rules so that people who do NOT have dogs can get some rest.

We love Jekyll. The weather was perfect. The hotel is very nice. We used to stay there when it was the Oceanside. Much improved. Great food, nice atmosphere. Sufficient workout room.

The hotel was in a good location. On the ocean and close to the historic district.

The resort was very private and never seemed crowded with plenty of beach. Our only disappointments were that this is only one small restaurant (our air) near the pool and our room was not very clean when we arrived. We had to request new sheets and for the floor to be vacuumed. The staff came out and took care of these concerns. We not too hard to please as long as our concerns are taken care of. We didn't let this affect our stay. Ultimately, you get what you pay for and this resort met our expectation for what we spent.

The hotel was clean and employees very friendly and helpful. Great low key place to relax, bike paths are well used by everyone, realize that the beach here looks beautiful, however, the water is muddy. Use the pool if you want to cool down. The rooms are large and clean. There are not alot of food options on the island--keep in mind if you have kids.

Wonderful! Stayed extra night because service was great and location was amazing.

Came to Brunswick to conduct business and stayed at the Holiday inn Resort on Jekyll which was only 15 minutes from Brunswick Downtown. The entire trip staying out there made me feel like I was on vacation! Great place, great staff!

The hotel could not be situated better. Feet from the beach. Morning sun coming up over the Atlantic. Was amazing and the seems the hotel is going through a remodeling and everything was so very nice. Definitely coming back!
