We arrived just after Boston was deluged with mountains of snow, so it was cold, wet and windy. But once we arrived at our hotel all that seemed to go away. It was warm, inviting and cozy. Its at the perfect location concerning convenience for activities to do, shopping and places to eat. We will be back again.

Front desk staff very friendly and nice, especially for Boston. And bathrobes and yoga mat in the guest room was an extra plus. But totally confused about why the hotel charges a $15/day resort fee. There's no beach, no pool, no sauna, no complimentary breakfast. I think this should be revisited by hotel management. Totally unfair and you're over charging your hotel guests. The hotel did offer complimentary tea and coffee with newspapers until 10am, but other hotels that I've stayed at in Boston offer this perk without a $15/day resort fee! And complimentary tea/coffee should be offered all day, especially during the bitter winter days in Boston. The common area is small and not well lit, so you don't feel like resting in that area.

We attended a Bruins game and the location, quality and price of the hotel was excellent.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the best part was they offer a list of things that if you forgot to bring with you. My husband forgot his tooth paste, so I asked one for him.The location is very convenient for us so we stayed here for a night before taking off our one week New England trip.

I enjoyed the hotel very much. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. The hotel is very conveniently located and close to public transportation. It is right near the Tip O'Neill Federal Building where I had to be each day of my stay. It was a two minute walk each morning. Can't get better than that!

My daughter and I stayed here the next goth of the Ed Sheeran concert and loved it! The location was perfect and it was surprisingly quiet for best no so close to the Garden! We will stay there again for sure!

Clean, comfortable and convenient near the garden.

Great overnight stay from beginning to end. Will definitely come back again.

This is a really nice place. It is close to everything, nice and clean and in a safe area. The only gripe is the resort fee $22 per day. Oh and watch out for the $7 bottle of water they convienently place in the room. Other than that it was a pleasure staying there.

The Kimpton Onyx is a wonderful hotel. The staff is great and very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to stay at if you are ever planning to see an event at the Garden or a weekend trip to Boston.

Stayed here overnight for a concert at TD Garden. Great hotel! Super convenient to the TD Garden (about a block away). Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops in the area. Hotel staff were friendly, room was great and service was as expected.

Great location! Close to the North End and the Garden. All walking distance. We always stay here when we go to events. This time our bed was really uncomfortable. Like an old rickety mattress. Alerted hotel staff in the am.

A great experience at this hotel one of the best I have stayed at. It was in close walking distance to many eating, sightseeing and other attractions. They have complimentary wine for guests every evening. The staff at this hotel is very friendly and helpful gave me recommendations, lent me a phone charger when mine broke, and printed out my airplane ticket. I will stay here again when I go back to Boston.

Very nice, close to the TD Garden and the Freedom Trail

The rooms are poorly insulated which meant that even on the top floor you could hear shouting in the streets as if you were ground level. And you can hear people talking in their rooms even across the hall. Also, the food is grossly overpriced. Breakfast for 2 with no coffee or alcohol or premium qualities was $82 and sadly arrived soggy, cold and flavorless. The staff however is great. As is the decor. That with perks like being pet friendly and complimentary wine hour might have me consider giving the hotel a 2nd chance.

Location of this hotel is ideal. We planned our trip around a game at TD Garden. Loved the quick walk to the Garden from the hotel. We were able to walk to most everything, hotel is very close to the metro stations as well. Hotel provided us a crib for our infant, which worked well for our 8 the month old. We stayed in the top floor penthouse level, room was nice. One thing to mention is if you like having your morning cup of coffee in your room, be sure to ask for the coffee maker ahead of time before you tuck in for bed. You'll wake up wondering where the coffee maker is. You need to ask the hotel, since the don't automatically provide one in the room only upon request. Our stay was enjoyable, staff was nice and would stay again because you can't beat the central location!

We love this little boutique hotel. Located near TDGarden, Fanuel Hall, and the North End. Easy walk to downtown. We even walked to the MFA, but we like walking. Our room was comfy, cozy, and quiet. The modern decor makes it a fun place to return to.

Hotel is nice and staff is very friendly. The room was nice and the beds are comfortable. My girlfriend and I stayed and it was perfect for us. One of the lights in the bathroom was flickering but it didn't ruin our stay. I would recommend this place to a friend.

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Glass of wine upon arrival, yes please! Cool vibe in the rooms and a fun place to stay. The location was a short taxi ride from many activities and historic sights in downtown Boston. There was also lots of foot traffic and places to grab a bite to eat in walking distance.

The entire staff from valet, to check in, to the Ruby room, were attentive , professional and warm.

Thanks for your feedback Thomas, especially regarding the perception of the facilities fee. We are always looking for ways to make the experience better. One of our main focuses is our lobby. I appreciate the all day coffee bar idea, and feel that's something we could start doing.
