This is one of my favorite hotels in Boston. It’s contenporary, stylish, rooms are spacious and modern, and the location is wonderful. The lobby bar and lounge are enjoyable and inviting and it’s a great place for business of a nice getaway!
This is the 2nd time I stayed in an AC hotel. The first was in Cambridge MA last year. I found the staff extremely friendly. From the housekeeping to the front desk. The hotel is modern, clean, and efficient. Breakfast was included and very well run. The restaurant manager and the hotel manager were constantly checking on everything and speaking with guests . The only negative was that it was located right next to the highway, which was a little noisy. I am a Marriott Platinum member and stay in Marriotts in Boston often. This hotel doesn’t disappoint.
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how fresh and new this hotel was and with how reasonably it was priced for a downtown Boston hotel. The staff at the AC were extremely pleasant and helpful and the rooms were spacious with some really nice touches. We will definitely be staying there again.
Stayed for 3 nights was in town for work, great hotel very clean and friendly staff. The room was big and very modern. Denis at the bar was great very knowledgeable made me some great drinks and gave me some great recommendations of places to go
This hotel brand is originally from Europe so it’s quite modern, the lobby and rooms are very tastefully decorated. The king bed room was a good size, the bathroom is well appointed and there is a desk to work at along with a refrigerator to store beverages. This location had numerous restaurants within walking distance and seemed to be in a nice area of the city. I would certainly stay here again on future trips.
The AC Hotel Boston is a modern, European-styled hotel in the Ink Block area of South Boston, MA. There are plenty of resturants within walking distance including a Whole Foods. I love this property. As a business traveler that is both hilton diamond and Marriott Platnium. What really makes the property is the staff. The team is awesome.EVERY person I have interacted with (and i have stayed 4 times now) has been extremely customer focused. The best example of how the team will go out of the way is when I checked in and was not feeling well and my foot hurt. Daniella, at the front desk, checked me in, but then offered to make me an appointment at a minute clinic, got the driver to take me to the appointment, he waited the hour for my appointment to conclude, all the while Daniella had my bags brought to my room. I plan on staying at the AC Hotel Marriott Boston for all of my travel to Boston/Cambridge MA.
Dennis is the bartender in the hotel bar. He is really entertaining, makes a fresh-homemade tequila mix! Dennis has top recommendations to local food or hot spots! Stop in to get a drink from Dennis at the AC hotel in Downtown Boston! I love Dennis! Ask him how is foot is healing, lol!
Loved this hotel. Excellent location and wonderful staff. The breakfast was to die for. Will definitely try to stay here again. Rooms were very accommodating Loved the bathroom and shower selections. Comfy bed Only change the ice and hydration station
Last min weekend getaway to a new city for us. I typically look to stay in boutique hotels which oftentimes, offers better service and modern accommodations. The AC collection has a few locations in this area. AC Hotel / Downtown is situated in art influenced region of town where a few construction projects are underway. Side note, we booked a Corner City View (#343) room which literally has expansive views of the back of a WholeFoods and the highway. We called the front desk to mention this and were credited a complementary breakfast since we couldn’t be reassigned to another room or floor because of full occupancy which was unfortunate, but happened. Other than that, the hotel itself has all the modern amenities surrounded by a sleek minimalist design. It’s within 3 blocks of the SOWA marketplace which is a multi-floor collection of artists’ studios and retail stores. There’s a CORE yoga studio, WholeFoods and several charming restaurants within 2 min. walking distance. In addition, it’s a 5min drive to all the major tourist hubs like Back Bay or Quincy Marketplace. We look forward to coming back to this hotel and staying in a higher floor ;)
I stayed here and was amazed.... Great hotel in the beautiful city of Boston! Go visit Dennis at the bar, one of the best around.. his service was beyond phenomenal and also was just a great guy. Would 10/10 recommend.
