We work frequently out of town and stay in many rentals. Although the property was conveniently located and would have served our needs it was definitely not rental ready. Firstly, upon arrival the property was very cold (no central heat), and each room was operating on a space heater (fireplace). The primary bedroom's heater kept creating an arc fault in the breaker panel and shutting off a large portion of the home. We were forced to move a small heater from the front room into that room.Secondly, after the first evening, we recognized that the refrigerator wasn't operating. On our first night we had already purchased perishables, this became a large issue for us. Though the manager sent someone to look at the unit, the solution of unplugging and defrosting the fridge didn't solve the issue.Thirdly, the property listed availability for three persons to sleep within the home. There was a primary bed, a secondary bed and a trundle. However, the trundle bed didn't have an actual mattress rather a box spring only. I was forced to purchase an air mattress to sleep at this property.Lastly, one of the living room chairs was broken and when sat in I was flung back and hit my head on the wall behind the chair. Needless to say, not as advertised, not in good serviceable condition, and not a pleasant stay. Though they allowed me to cancel the remainder of the rental, still very displeased they didn't over a refund for the trouble of finding a new rental.
