Beautiful lobby, very clean room & comfortable bed! Best is free valet

Beautiful Decor and very convenient to the airport

Hotel and restaurants attached to the hotel were great. The rest of Billings is in bad shape. Prob first and last visit to Billings.

Room was very small. Pillows were terrible. Beautiful property, just a couple minor annoyances.

Surprising touches and amenities. We stayed in a King room and it was small as described, but had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The property is well maintained. Breakfast at Bernies made our stay extra special. Justin made sure he had my coffee ready the way I liked it without me asking after the first day, and even would get cinnamon from the restaurant next door for me. The lobby is unique and clean, the staff were all amazing and so friendly. We parked ourselves to avoid valet and it’s a simple elevator to the 2nd floor and a walk through a Breezeway to get to your car. This is the only thing we could have used better instructions on. I am confident we chose the right place for our first time visiting Billings, and I’m pretty sure there isn’t anywhere better to stay in the city. I left with so many great memories, great nights of sleep, and will definitely choose this place again if we return!!!

Great location and facility. Clean and tidy. Amenities missing from suite and incredibly rude staff.

The gym is large and well-equipped for a hotel gym! The mats there, though, were absolutely filthy. I also wished there was a water fountain instead of just bottled water to use. The hotel was too expensive for the quality. The room/bathroom was teeny, no bath, no complementary breakfast, etc. I would also recommend more clear instructions about parking, like maybe a sign at the entrance - "hotel guests park in reserved" or something.

I could not turn on my heat. My room was freezing and the font desk was not very helpful. too much to pay not to have the ability turn up your heat.

Great location for downtown entertainment and for farmers market on Saturday.

The electronic lock on my room malfunctioned regularly. Love Bernies diner and the music in the lobby bar.

Love the "feel". The fresh flowers in the lobby are always amazing. The rooms are on the small side but I realize this is due to the age of the building. Food at Bernies was great. Always love staying here

This 117 year hotel is kept up as well as it can be , it is a gem and a landmark in downtown Billings.

A very nice hotel, reasonably priced and very close to many fine places to eat. Convenient to Billings Logan Airport with complimentary shuttle service. Would definitely stay at the Northern again.

Rooms are getting a bit dated - flooring, etc. and the plumbing (second time) is not draining well at all. I hope the hotel takes the next step and does their 5-10 year remodel. On the other hand, I cannot express my satisfaction with the front desk staff for being friendly and helpful. This is one of the quietest places to stay and the valet crew is A rated!

I froze to death!! But didn't want to hassle with moving to another room, as I'd already had to move to another room as my first room's toilet kept running. Thermostat could only get to 71, I realize that is warm enough for some people, but considering how cold it was outside, I just couldn't get warm. No extra blankets in room.

Rooms are clean but VERY small.. would have loved coffee in the room. Staff very friendly and location perfect to take in downtown activities.

Nice, clean hotel & room ... "very" small room ... no coffee maker, no fridge ... only 1 nightstand beside bed (inconvenient) ...no counter area in bathroom for makeup ... $5 chg for a bottle of water! First & last visit
