Although the room was clean and the person at the desk was nice the rooms were less than average. Mattresses were super old pillows were also old and moldy and the bedsheets I hope were clean but had stains on them. They did not even bother to put fitted sheets on the bed. For the price I paid support a local business please invest that money into new beds proper bedding and clean pillows. Also the towels were old and scratchy. I would not reccomend this hotel at the price I paid.

I understand our General Manager was able to reach you today on the phone regarding your Post-Stay Review, which I would like to address as well. We listen to our guests very carefully. Once we identified the room you were in, we immediately checked the condition of the mattress. It was installed at the end of 2019, and is in good shape. We appreciate your bringing the pillows in that room to our attention: they are being replaced. Sometimes the soap our laundry uses does not fully rinse out of the sheets and leaves a slight discoloration and we apologize. But we would have been happy to move you to a different room or remake the bed with fresh linens upon your request. We understand that hotel room rates across the country have increased due to inflation, supply chain issues, and the difficulty of finding employees. This is also true of almost everything you and I purchase on a daily basis. But please know that Riversage works very hard to keep our rates as low as possible, and we regularly track hotel rates across Billings. We are priced considerably lower than comparable hotel properties: we don't have a franchise, pool, hot tub, lounge, or conference center and we pass along those savings to you. We hope you will come back. Please understand our staff is here to serve, and if there is ever anything we can do to make you more comfortable -- just ask. Thanks again, Kate.
