The room was spacious, and the staff was friendly. The mattress was dirty and very worn; the pillow cases were dirty; the shower curtain was molded; the parking lot pavement had big potholes and needs to be repaired, and the swimming pool was utterly filthy. I wouldn't stay there again. The hotel is about 15 minutes from downtown.

Very underrated place the stay in baton rouge I highly recommend definitely clean there were some small things that could be updated in terms of like shower curtains, towels and bed comforters. It is a very authentically old saloon style hotel great for pictures. As well as the aesthetic.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a motel/hotel. I paid $70 for the room and once I saw it, I said NO WAY AM I STAYING HERE. Roaches were crawling all over the room and bathroom. The beds were dirty and worn out. The room was disgusting. I had to leave and spend money to get another hotel for the night. Basically I lost $70 to this dump.

When you enter the property, it stinks. The smell is even worse in the rooms. I don't recommend it. I made a reservation and left immediately upon arrival. You can't sleep there; the bad smell is unbearable.
