New hotel. Nice size room. Great location. Only reason that I didn’t give excellent is because our room was located next to an exit door and it opened and closed all night long. Would stay there again!
The shower and toilet had this light reddish goop around the corners and drain. I asked if they could clean our room but the stuff was still there except in the toilet . Everyone seemed nice .

Hello, Clay! We appreciate your review. Element by Westin Baton Rouge South celebrated our grand opening on February 17, 2022. We are a newly constructed hotel so we are still “tweeking” things as normally happens with new construction. The cleaner that we use is a pinkish color and it seems to react / attach itself to the caulking and porcelain. Thank you for letting us know about the situation. We cannot fix what we do not know.
