First when we get there the room wasn’t ready for 3pm check-in. The day time front desk associate was very rude and inconsiderate. She had us wait until room was available then tried to give our room away to other guests that arrived after us. The whole reason for us booking this hotel was because of the large pool. We had several families staying there with our son’s travel baseball team that were looking forward to the pool. No where on any website did it say pool was closed. Night time desk associate was great. Rooms were spacious and clean.

The front desk staff was yelling at our group because she was upset that our rooms were not ready on time. Absolutely terrible service. The pool was closed because it had not been clean. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Absolutely terrible experience.

The property was clean, but didn’t have some of the amenities advertised. The bar selection was limited, and the desk staff seemed to be responsible for too much. They were always super helpful, but very busy. They were sometimes hard to find. Also, I checked in on Monday and had to ask for clean towels on Thursday night. I can understand not checking rooms everyday, but 4 days is too long.

Very disappointed with this stay. It started out fine but I’ve been dealing with this for weeks now and unable to get a response. Left multiple messages for the manager to call me and she will not. Charged $75 for a damage fee even though they told me it would be $50 and would be credited back with 5-7 business days. It’s now April 10 and still no credit or explanation. I had points so my stay was free but dealing with this $75 charge still today. I did get the host when I called yesterday to say the $75 was a pet charge. I don’t even have a pet to bring but yet was charged this. We travel a lot and if this is the way business is handled we will never stay in a Hyatt hotel again.

Great Positives and a Few Negatives
Normally, I don't review a hotel, but I thought this one was worth the review. I loved that I was able to control the air in my room. There was a floor unit, which allowed me to keep the air blowing all night long, unlike the wall units that seem to control themselves are 12:00 p.m. This may seem small to others, but it was a big deal for me. Also, the shower had a great water pressure, and it was hot. I hate it when the water is lukewarm. Also, there was an effort to keep the common areas (lobby and hallways) smelling nice. So often, you can smell the odor of marijuana in the hallways and the elevator, but this hotel was attempting to keep the odor to a minimum. The only downfall is that you could tell that this was an older hotel. I would recommend that the furniture (desk, nightstand, and tv stand) be replaced. Also, I didn't appreciate that there was no microwave. I think that hotels should say upon check-in that they do not have microwaves in the room, but there is another place to heat food if needed. Also, there is an abandoned building next to the hotel, which takes away from some of its' appeal. Overall, I would stay again!
