This was the worst hotel stay of my life! I’ve stayed at other Quality Inn’s before so I knew what to expect as far as the room layout and decor. I got to the hotel around 11 pm my first night and was unable to even access the parking lot. Cops had the entrance blocked so I knew the area must be rough. It turns out there is a nightclub of some sort right next to the hotel. The road that was blocked was full of hundreds of teenagers. I had to roll down my window and speak with a cop to let him know I needed to park because I was staying at the hotel. Kids were running and screaming all over the parking lot when I entered it. I checked into my room and found out the nightclub entrance was right outside my window. Cops spent the next 3 hours trying to get the kids to leave the area. The noise didn’t die down until after 2 am. The next day, I spoke with an employee who was unable to refund me any money; however, she said she’d give me a different room that night since the club was open once again that night. I understand the hotel can’t control the fact that there is a nightclub next door; however, something needs to be done so that firsts of the hotel can actually access the parking lot.
