We called the front desk as we had warm water and no hot water for showers at all. We called them several times, maintenance came to the room checked something, said they would come back and never returned. After long travels very disappointed.

Específicamente, creo que es necesario mejorar la limpieza de las alfombras en las áreas comunes y actualizar los televisores a Smart TV, algo estándar hoy en día. Front desk staff was rude to me from the moment I stepped in front of her before I can mutter a word. Nice to everyone before and after me. Especially rude the second time I spoke with her. Booked here because the last flight out ATL to EWR was oversold. A lot of others experiencing the same thing… I get to my first room there are bugs crawling on the pillow. Mind you, by the time I check in it is well after 12am. Exhausted is an understatement at this point so having to deal with bugs… I go back down and tell her the issue. She basically is flabbergasted like she could not believe bugs existed in this dirty hotel. Next room I was given smelled like someone had been hotboxing cigarettes. By this point I had to just call it a night and catch my quick Zz’s. Morning comes, and front desk lady is still especially rude to me however; pleasant to everyone else. If you have to stay in a budget hotel next to the airport, maybe pick Hyatt or somewhere else just not Sonesta South.
