This is a great location if you are going to the RAI for a convention. The breakfast is good. Dinner at the restaurant was good but took a very long time to come. Mayra our server was very pleasant and served us well. Will return when I am again here for a convention.

Holiday inn my favourite hotel. Being a Spire member i get all the privileges. Good staff big rooms. Nice restaurant though a little away from the city center. Would suggest a little more care towards the reception as needs attention. Transport is not a problem taxis alwats available.

We stayed here 1 night. The room with 2 double beds is too small for a familiy of 4. The staff were efficient at check-in. We had paid out hotel room in advance- but for some reason we still had to ay a small 'city tax' when we checked out. Don't understand why this is not included up front. N.B:The staff were also incompetent/dishonest in stating that the daily parking rate was €35 . It was in fact €55 (I arrived on a Friday, and checked out on a Saturday)

A clean & modern hotel. Breakfast was expensive at 22 Euros. We stayed for 2 nights (Friday & Saturday) & had an early start on the Saturday for sightseeing. When we came back to our room at 2 p.m. it had not been serviced. We asked about this at reception & were told that the rooms were cleaned later on a Saturday! The room was clean but not very well maintained & the windows couldn't open at all. Despite this hotel not being central, it is only about half an hour in to the centre of Amsterdam so that was a good point - location wise I'd recommend it.

The hotel was in a great location, very close to the RAI train station and tram stop. It was 25 minutes into the city centre by tram. It was within a 15 minute walk to the Exhibition Centre at RAI. The breakfast and service in the restaurant was very good. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. We stayed for 3 days and on one day we returned very late to find our room hadn't been serviced which was disappointing when we had 4 women staying in the same room. We had to call for towels and toilet paper etc. The beds were quite hard and the pillows not good.

Totally agree with previous feedback: no hospitality at this hotel. Travelled previously for business and been to Holiday Inn Dublin (brilliant hotel, excellent rooms and friendly staff). Based on that experience decided to book the one in Amsterdam for a family of four. I haven't seen such a depressing staff in any of the hotels I was staying (and I do travel more than 50 percent of my time for business. Not even a smile, torture for them to answer to any of your questions. Terrible feeling to be honest, especially after a week trip, when we stayed in 3 different hotels and saw completely different attitude. The receptionist was almost mute, handling us room card. Most of the answers for our very few questions were: " I don't know.". 30 E for the parking outside of the hotel (don’t mind the price ), but there is a message that "you are parking at your own risk", meaning we just take your money and that's it. Anyways, getting back to the room: the bathroom is in a need of renovation – yellow stains all over the place, the shower is almost falling from its place, water was barely making it. 2 beds with one pillow per person, really?? Haven't seen such an amazing choice for years. Walls were dirty (especially the one next to the bed). Air vent was making "airplane" noise 24/7. Next day when were back to the room, only one bed was made. Do you charge for making the second bed separately? Breakfast: the only positive side was the diversity (kids liked it), otherwise just dirty. Table cleaning happens through a very easy algorithm: just swipe all food remaining to the floor and vuola! - next one please! So, to summarize: 200 E per night (we’ve stayed in 3 other hotels during our trip in France and Belgium with the same price tag and got only positive emotions for example in Paris and Brussels ), and you get all the above "services". If it wasn't for a Dublin Holiday Inn experience, I would think that Holiday Inn's are like that, but luckily there are good examples how to run your shop.

Uninterested front office staff. Only paperwork, No friendly treatment, No information what so ever. No recognition as IHG Platinum member. The frontoffice assigned me an executive room on the 15th floor. The hotel advertises with a complete renovation of their executive rooms. But our room was not renovated at all. Dirty carpet, no walk-in shower etc. Room however is large and Kingbed is ok. No pillow choice. Last febr i had a bad experience at breakfast. Management emailed me that next time my breakfast experience would be great. So we went down with great expectation. It was unforgettable! But in a negative way. At entrance, the waitress from behind the counter while serving coffee to an other customer, called out: roomnumber Sir! They only serve a breakfast buffet. Costs: eur 22 or $25! Absolutely not worth the price. We arrived at 9.15. Eggstation was not manned. All the pans for eggs were empty. Only a few cold sausages and bacon were left. Prefab hash browns. After a few minutes they called the chef from behind. Some cheese and cold cuts. Canned fruit. Yoghurt. Small bread rolls. Staff is there only for clearing the tables. No service or a friendly word. The management wants you to rate the hotel a 10! Thats a joke. I stay in a lot of IHG properties over the year but this one lacks hospitality all over the place. Time for the management to act and bring the staff up to IHG standard.

The hotel was a good location and close to Rai Station. My checkin experience was not very good. You would think that people working I. The service industry should like customer service. I shared my experience with the manager and she was help make all things right. Thanks Ingrid. The rooms are clean and decent size for Amsterdam.

Stayed at the holiday inn for three nights and could not fault the friendly staff, the room had 2 double beds and was kept clean and tidy, The breakfast was very, very good with lots of selection. The location near Station Ria was perfect for hopping on the tram to central Amsterdam taking approx 30mins. We would definitely stay there again.

I staying in Holiday Inn Amsterdam during a business visit in September 2017. I chose this hotel as it is walking distance from my office. The check-in was easy without any trouble. The room was average with very old decor. The toilet reminded me of some hospital toilets, clean hygienic but totally unimaginative. The coffee / tea maker was on the luggage rack and did not have any proper place to keep. However the restaurant was very good and I had two dinners there which were of superb quality. One innovative thing was Angry Birds game isn’t he elevator. Overall would like the hotel to improve it’s room quality bring it at par with rest of Holiday Inn properties.
