Extended Stay America - Allentown - Bethlehem

Had to wait 20 minutes just to check in, because no one was at the lobby desk. Room was not cleaned, floor had not been vacuumed, bathroom had not been cleaned either.

The hotel was pretty nice. There's a little kitchen in it which was a pleasant surprise. Hence the "extended stay" brand. Fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen sink. Although there were no utensils or glasses in the cabinets.

For a lower cost hotel it was surprisingly modern, clean, comfortable and quiet. Extended stay need to invest more in their front desk staff. They are the face of the entire business. Either spend more money to attract a higher caliber staff or do some serious training. The front desk staff at this location were efficient but not friendly with limited eye contact. Very few customer relation skills.

Hotel was clean and room was newly-remodeled. I had never stayed in an Extended Stay before so getting your own towels and dishes took a little getting used to. And the breakfast was kind of abysmal. But it was very inexpensive. The staff was really nice too. I had no one next to me until the last night but the walls are very thin.

Hotel is an decent location near Allentown and Bethlehem. Amenities in the Hotel are not meeting typical standards. Vending machine was 2/3 empty. Didn't even bother to try out the free breakfast. What concerned me the most was that there were several guests that appeared to be drug addicts. We didn't feel safe coming home after dark with some people hanging out in the parking lot which also had broken glass there during our 3 day stay. Nobody from the Hotel staff bothered to clean that up.

For my first time staying there I really enjoyed it. The staff was always friendly.

Everything was good the problem was the position of the TV was to low, they need to use a rack to hang the TV. The room was nice but little stinking so I ask to the receptionist for fabreze that fix the problem.

The room was clean and spacious. I like that it had a stove, microwave and sink but the towels were scarce for a two day stay. When I asked the staff or housekeeping for toilet paper she rudely and hesitantly gave me one and said i should ask the front desk next time. Also the breakfast was not so great. Just coffee and granola bars.

Simple check in. Clean room. Full sized fridge. Comfortable bed. Didn't give 5 stars just because the furniture can use an update. Other than that, great room for cheap.

Room was clean,A/C worked effentently and was quite. No coffee maker in room. No hair dryer. Very limited breakfast buffet...tiny

Room was well priced. ...but amenities were barely in room. Had to ask.. Some staff were unfriendly

Excellent hotel for the price just no bottle water in the vending machines only soda

Nice set up- wouldn't mind coming back to this jotel again...very convenient

We requested a non-smoking room and there were ash trays in it and it smelled of smoke. Even the sheets smelled. When I got home my pj's smelled of smoke. The pillows were either filled with rocks or a filling that went flat immediately. The curtains were stained and there was a stain in the sink. The chair in the room was also dirty. I would never stay there again.

Exactly what I needed, when I needed it. Thank you

Staff was great and accommodations are always clean. Will be back here again

Overall stay was good. No complaint. Room was clean, nice TV & bathroom

Was somewhat surprised that we were responsible for emptying the trash and trading in our dirty linens for clean ones, felt more like a maid than a guest! We were there for a memorial service for a family member and would have appreciated not having to make the bed, etc. This practice should have been explained to us at check in! I will give it a 5* mark for convenient location . Everything we did was relatively close and was eaasy access!

Requested non-smoking and walked into room that smelled like someone just put a cigarette out. Location OK but that is about it.

One night business trip. You get what they advertise. First-timer in an ESA. Not the right choice for my requirements. My bust. Location was good. Hotel not set up for business traveler. Internet not included and no breakfast.
