I ordered a simple Tuna Salad Croissant. I was pleasantly surprised with quality of the meal with veggie sticks and slaw. Great atmosphere. Busy Bistro on a rainy night. Kaitlyn was very pleasant even though she was very busy. The constant smile made dinner a better experience. I will keep this location in mind when I am working here in the future.

I've stayed at the property many of times, and i have never been disappointed. The staff there is great. And the ladies in the bistro rock. Every time i go to the bar rather it be for breakfast, dinner or just a cocktail those ladies always have a smile on their faces. Great property and excellant staff

This Courtyard is showing its age. I was just okay with my stay here. Its is comfortable, the lobby is up to date. They, the owners, should invest in updating the sleeping rooms. I will stay again but there is a new Towneplace Suites that will be more desirable for a Marriott option.

I travel quite a bit for business and by far this hotel provides a very welcoming environment for it's guest. The staff was very professional and friendly and my room was cleaned well our entire stay at the property. I would highly recommend staying at this location if your traveling to the Albany area!

first the tv provider was being changed so very very limited tv available and was not told before checking in. second encouraged to use the Bistro in hotel where they only had one person taking orders, bartendering and cooking orders. She tried but not able to do it so at 9Pm after waiting an hour and half for my food I had to leave the hotel and go find something for dinner.

We felt lucky to get a room here after evacuating from hurricane Irma . Big mistake! The power went out on Monday afternoon and we made our way down the two flights of stairs in the dark to the lobby. We inquired to the assistant manager Pam about no emergency lighting in the hallways or on the stairs. Her reply that they couldn't be on because they weren't charged before the power failure was astonishing. I thought it was the law to have functioning emergency lights when power failed. Also even though the placard said no dogs allowed at this hotel, there were at least Three that I saw and people sleeping in the lobby overnight even though I know they had cancellations. The whole atmosphere at this hotel was depressing . Not one staff member went out of there way to be helpful. With the power out and no effort to even open the bar or restaurant for anything, or allow anyone to buy something from the little concession room and put it on your room tab. Two little kids we're even allowed to buy a candy bar . How about some good will for goodness sake and give them one? Not this management. This hotel also has the most limited tv channels I've seen in a hotel. No showtime or just some basic channels like Nat Geo or TNT even though they are listed in the room guide. With the elevators not in service there was no one even to help you bring your luggage down from the third floor. Shame on you Courtyard Marriott for not assuring proper management at this hotel!

First time using Marriott Reward points converted from SPG Starpoints just for this trip. We stayed here overnight August 3-4 and then returned to stay Aug 6-14 using it as a hub for daily trips back and forth visiting with family within a 30-mile radius. Loved the room decor, furnishings, and amenities--the comfy king bed, the mobile desk (doubled as workspace and dining table), the sofa for two, small fridge, microwave, daily in-room coffee supplies, flat panel TV, and free Wi-Fi made the room just right for our week long stay. It was just enough room for each of us to have space and not trip over suitcases and all the other stuff (electronic devices, fitness equip, books, etc,) we travel with. The small fitness center was sufficient and working out in the room was doable (P90X anyone?). The bistro and lobby theater were very inviting and charging electronic devices was convenient whether in the room or the lobby areas. All hotel staff we encountered (front desk, the bistro, in our room, on the grounds, anywhere on the property) were very courteous and helpful. Even the hotel guests were friendly :-) Not a deal breaker, however, the following are items that would've been a plus -- DVD player in the room, tea included with the coffee supplies, more than one sugar packet in the coffee condiment package, chairs on the small balcony. The location is convenient-- right off a major highway that allows quick access to nearby shopping and eating, to downtown Albany, or to nearby cities. Some local favorites for carryout and dining-in that we tried and liked: Zaxby's (Pointe North Blvd), Eggs Up Grill (Old Dawson Rd), Blackbeard's (Slappey Blvd), Carter's Fried Chicken (Cedric Ave), Cheddar's (Westover Blvd) Most likely we will return to this hotel on future trips to Albany or surrounding areas.

This hotel was overall pretty clean but the pool was dirty and full of bugs. When we got back to the room we found a couple of bug but we weren't sure if they came from our items that we had at the pool or if they were in the room. We pre bought the breakfast tickets the night before but the next day we weren't feeling very good so we didn't want to eat breakfast there but they would not do a refund, basically forcing us to do the breakfast or loose our money. Nice hotel overall.

I had a fantastic room, a great stay, clean environment, and the most helpful friendly people I have ever met before, the management, the cleaning crew and especially the café staff, Tina was the best!!! Strongly recommend beautiful place to stay.. Thank You Court Yard Marriott!

We were only here one night and pretty much just slept there but from check in to check out, it was a very pleasant experience. The place was clean and quiet. It looked fairly new and the furnishings looked modern and updated. The staff was nice, and the rate was decent. Nice place to stay. We will consider staying here again if back in this area.
