Zvartnots International Airport is the airport providing flights from Yeveran area of Armenia. Located six miles outside Yeveran off highway M-5, the airport is easy to get to. Over 34 airlines transport passengers internationally. Those airlines include Air France, Armavia, Transaero and UTAir. The airport provides 34 nonstop flights to 53 cities throughout the world. Opened in 1961, this Armenian airport was originally intended to handle flights throughout the Russian continent. Today, its services are truly global.
Leave your car in the safe and enclosed parking lot across from the new terminal at Zvartnots International. Parking fees begin after ten minutes in the facility. For 500AMD or $1.20 an hour, you can leave the car in the 600-space parking garage. The maximum fee is 2000AMD or $4.81 a day. There are two major airports, John F. Kennedy International (JFK) and LaGuardia, that service travelers flying into New York City.
