Location was fine, however the parking is too far away from the rooms. VERY limited dining options - we asked for a bar / lounge and was directed to an area with uncomfortable wooden seats and tables. We only wanted a drink, but had to order a meal ? Carpark stairs absolutely reek of cigarettes and cigarette ash.
Always love staying at the River Rock. Very convenient and full of amenities. Only downfall was the bed. It was worn and worse for wear. Hoping they update them soon or it was just our room
Clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Elevator was out and they went above and beyond for us.

The staff at reception, housekeeping and Curves were all very welcoming and friendly. The room was wonderful. Overall it was a great experience!
We loved the doorman Russell. He was the best part of the hotel. He was helpful and informative. I would hire him for my business if I could !!!
Parking was the only issue. It was free though- you can pay for valet. Great value overall.
Richmond is a great place to visit and this resort feels like a a perfect getaway.

We really liked that it was very close to train station, which made it super convenient to arrive from cruise ship terminal, as well as departing to airport on our way home. No need for shuttles or taxis.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent, but some of the properties near by were blighted like most big cities
