When a property advertises itself as Cambria at Spokane International Airport it should be at the terminal...not on the opposite side of the runway on Interstate 90. When I arrived I expressed my disappointment in the location of the hotel. The Cambria wanted to charge my credit card $100.00 for incidentals right off the bat. Their POS system was not functioning so there was an issue with processing my credit card. I was so frustrated that I canceled my reservation and found a hotel that actual was at Spokane International Airport Terminal. Don't bother with this property. My credit card has been charged for the stay, which I will be contesting.

Great new property in a newer (under developed) location. VERY clean, but dark room. Odd complaint, but they use trendy edison lights that are both harsh to look in the direction of (no shades) and at the same time put out very little actual illumination. Impressive insulation for being SO very close to Spokane Airport. Also no microwave, but there's one in the self-serve "convenience store" in the lobby. Friendly staff, decent on-prem restaurant, which is good since nothing is within walking distance. Recommended!

Clean new hotel. But a few oddities.

New hotel with a fresh design that surprised. One design idea that worked: the room layout with a separator between the entrance and bed. Cool! Two design ideas that did not: 1 - No good lighting options for the desk/closet/coffee area. Even with the windows fully open it’s hard to see anything in that space. Please add better lighting there. 2 - The flooring isn’t rug (great for sanitation BTW) was nice looking and clean but loud. We heard our neighbors walking, stepping, tapping, etc. So, yea, we had to put on some Ocean sounds on to sleep through the sounds of neighboring rooms just walking normally in the other rooms. So, good and bad? Final comments. The staff was very polite and considerate. Good to have them when we arrived and departed. One odd thing was the funky LED lighting on the bar rack in the back that looked like it was tacked on last minute after they built the hotel. I’d remove those cheap LED strips ASAP and put in proper lighting to match the modern decor. The contractor that thought those LEDs was a good eye catch thought wrong. Would stay there again.

The property and restaurant got stellar ratings; it was obvious that the ratings did not match reality. This property was next to a very noisy road which you could clearly hear in the room. The rooms were just average, not stellar. I would never stay there again and question ratings.
