When I arrived the air conditioning wasn’t working in half the building. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The food options listed as “walking distance” weren’t really options due to the highway that would have to be crossed on foot. Worst of all was that even though the hotel was listed as a nonsmoking facility it smelled like smoke in the building and especially in the room I was in.

This was hands down one of the worst cheap hotel experiences we’ve had. Not only was the hotel itself dirty and extremely poor in quality, but we were also charged the full amount AGAIN at checkout by manually adding our card number, even though our stay had been fully prepaid through Hotels.com. I called to get it resolved, and the first representative claimed there was only a $10 incidental charge. That was false ~ I was staring at a charge of over $120 on my card. When I called back, the next rep was incredibly unprofessional ~ she even put me on speakerphone without asking, and I had to request she take me off speaker. She promised to call me back with no call back. When I followed up again, another rep casually told me they were “trying to figure it out” but had “other jobs to do,” and couldn’t tell me whether they’d get back to me today, tomorrow, or ever. It was clear they had no urgency and no respect for the fact that they were holding my money. Avoid this hotel at all costs. It’s dirty, mismanaged, and clearly has no concern for their guests. Charging customers twice and brushing it off like it’s no big deal is absolutely unacceptable.

The air in the lobby is out and it is too hot to sit even in the morning time for breakfast. The front desk people were nice but I felt bad for them having to be in the hot lobby. The air in the room took a while to get the room cool. The fridge in the room needs replaced. It was barely functioning. The rooms were clean. The coffee machine in the room needed cleaning though. But other than that the room and bathroom were fine. I was charged more than I should have been so also look at what they’re charging you.

Bed and pillows were SUPER comfortable! Staff made sure my request of extra pillows and blanket was complete. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff were friendly and nice! The room smelled clean and inviting. Would definitely stay here again!

Generally it was adequate except for one big problem. In my room, the curtains were designed not to close over the air conditioning unit. There were only very sheer curtains that closed all the way, which mean that I had floodlights from the parking lot shining into my room all night with nothing I could do about it.
