Great hotel for short stay in Rome

The room had air conditioning which was great as the weather was very hot. The room's bed was nice and big, had a mini fridge, a TV, big wardrobe and bathroom with bath and shower. Very clean and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location was great as Termini is less than 5 minutes away with shops and restaurants also close by. Breakfast was simple but tasty, especially fresh cakes and cornettos.

The hotel room was good, however the area around was a bit dirty and too crowded. The property stairs were also kind of dirty, and we took them quite often due to the only elevator in the hotel. Overall it was okay

For one day stay it worth the money-$107. Pros- the staff was friendly. Cons- broken elevator, leaking shower head, clogged drain, only two towels were provided for two peoples. The local area is not good.

We had an enjoyable stay. We just didn't realize the hotel was the 3rd and 4th floor of another building and was used mainly as a youth hostel type hotel. There was, fortunately, and elevator to take us up. The couple running it were very hospitable and helpful about helping us find our way around Rome.

Great transport connection with Rome airports

Clean and convenient simple accommodation next to the Termini station. 24 hours front desk and luggage storage which was especially important for us, as we arrived early in the morning and they still allowed us to leave our luggage in the hotel before the check-inn time. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Caroline suites are great! Unfortunately, we were placed in a different (and completely unacceptable) hotel in the same building the first night if our stay. After letting management know our concern, we were moved to Caroline Suites, the hotel we had booked. While we are appreciative of the responsiveness to our concern, our rating would have been a 5 had we gotten the room we booked from the start. The complimentary breakfast was very good, the bed comfortable, and the room and bathroom convenient and well appointed. The only complaint about the room is that the toilet seat was the wrong size and not attached.

Do not book this property

I booked this property on the basis of good reviews in hotel.com. However, much to my disappointment, the property did not meet my expectations at all. I booked for a room in Caroline Suites, however, without warning, we were instead accommodated in another floor "Caesar Suites". When we asked for an explanation, they casually explained that the two properties were managed by the same administration. We didn't protest anymore as we were already tired after a long flight, and we were only staying for a night. The room was not well maintained and unfortunately the bathroom even less so (the shower head was not working properly). Be warned that you may have the same experience if you book this property. We have been warned by reviews that the building which houses Caroline Suites is decrepit, but please also be warned that the elevator sometimes does not work, so you may forced to lug your bags up the building's dingy floors. All I can say is that the hotel accommodation is definitely not worth the price we paid for it, not even for half the price. You have been sufficiently warned.

Great Staff, Warm Owners.

Clean but very, very dated, dark and extremely worn. Very lovely owners/service. Surprisingly great breakfast, felt like I was in their home. Extremely close to Termini station which was why I chose it, but it felt a bit like a hostel. One building that housed many different hotels. Scary stairwell.

good budget choice for a solo traveler

The room is very small, but clean modern and comfortable. Would be too small for more than one person. If you get a room by the coutyard, it should be fairly quiet: the breakfast is OK and it is very close to the TERMINI STATION.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, o atendimento é bom, só não gostei de ter ficado trancada um dia do lado de fora, no meu primeiro dia. Eles não me avisaram no check in que era fechado a tarde e não me deram a senha para abrir o portão. Só entrei depois de muito tempo quando chegou uma hóspede que tinha a senha e por sorte eu tinha levado a chave do quarto, porque fui no andar da recepção e estava fechado.

Stanza angusta e poco attenti in tutto. Sosta un cane nei corridoi e il particolare odore si sentiva in camera. Come considerate clienti a cui piacciono dovete continuare a considerare anche a chi non piacciono. Io non ho nulla contro gli animali ma essendo un soggetto con cefalea oftalmica sono stata nauseata tutto il giorno. II dispenser del sapone non vi era per il bidet e quello del lavandino non erogava nonostante abbia tentato di svitarlo e riavvitarlo. Gli addetti dovrebbero saperlo o bisogna suggerire di controllare ogni dettaglio? dunque ho dovuto usare quello della doccia. Sapone tra le mani fino al bidet con il rischio di scivolare. Box doccia incrostato. Pulizia poco attenta, ho trovato capelli e briciole del giorno prima. Colazione se si arriva alle 8 trovi tutto, ma se si arriva alle 9, il vuoto. Arrivata di lunedì e partita giovedì lo stesso ciambellone e crostata. Fateli più piccoli e date alla gente la giusta impressione che tutto sia fresco, e non di 4 giorni. Per la sosta delle valigie prendono 5 euro a parte, almeno fossero custodite in una stanza, e no sono di impaccio nel corridoio della reception/bar. Non ci tornerò.
