it was my pleasure to stay at Pulitzer hotel this January vacation. Hotel is a bit far from the center but only 5 minutes from metro station - and a few station underground to the Colosseum. very clean rooms and pretty design of rooms and spaces. Good cuisine, nice bar and lobby. It is quite small but very cosy and friendly atmosphere hotel. Very reasonable price per night.
We visited Rome for one week for a combination of work and vacation. We stayed at the hotel mainly since it is close to where I needed to go, but even more importantly, thanks to past good experience we had there. We were not dissapointed. The place is nice, even though quite remote from the center of the city - but close to some interesting and maybe less known attractions. The staff is very nice the restaurant is good. We enjoyed....
Having only read about this hotel on the internet and booking it from there, I can honestly say it was a fantastic choice in a great location. The room was a good size with every amenity you would need, plenty of storage, a great power shower and giant mirrors in both the room and the bathroom making it seem even more light and airy. The huge bed was a bonus and very comfortable. The rooftop hot tub was a lovely addition and we used it after long days walking, it made it feel like a beach holiday in with a city break. We only had breakfast one morning but if we were to stay again we would probably use it everyday as it represented good value for money and a good choice of food. The reception staff spoke good English which was helpful for finding out about transport etc. and they were efficient in arranging taxis. As stated in previous reviews, the hotel is only a 2/3 minute walk to the Metro station, we used this up until 11:30 at night and always felt safe. Even the 'ladies of the night' were only spotted once and they were on the opposite side of the road causing no issues. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel.
This hotel was amazing can’t fault in anyway. This was booked for us and was really surprised. It’s 10 minutes on the metro and a few minutes walk to get there - the hotel has everything you need for a city break and more! They offer a phone to get around with navigation and calls (something I never experienced before), they provided all the helpful information we needed (even an adapter as forgot ours). They have a lovely roof top jacuzzi which is perfect after a long day sight seeing. Food in restaurant was amazing and the bar had a great ambience and not expensive. The owner has a lovely spaniel who follows him around everywhere. Breakfast was everything you can imagine even a pancake machine. Thank you to them for making our stay amazing.
We only checked in for three days as part of a short city break in Roma. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful upon our arrival, looking after our bags, helping us locate restaurants and routes for our tours - even a glass of prossecco on arrival! The hotel was incredibly clean, and the breakfast and bar service was very good. The room was well cleaned and facilitates including the gym and roof tub were all fantastic! The next time we return to Roma we will definitely be checking in again.
We stayed at the hotel for a touristic city trip, and that appears to be the optimal use of this hotel. It is located outside the city center but the next metro stop taking you into downtown is only 200 m away, and the trains run every couple of minutes. The room was well equipped with many power outlets for Italian plugs but also some for EU plugs. Airco worked moderately well (we mainly used it for heating). Closet space is ok for a short city trip, probably suboptimal for a longer stay. Free safe in the closet. Free in-room WiFi had sufficient bandwidth for streaming. While our room was not facing the street (main street to town), noise from the street was always present to some degree. Bathroom had a well-sized shower and a towel warmer. Breakfast had a good spread, particularly nice hams and Italian preserves (including a delightful pistacchio creme). There is a sundeck on the 5th floor roof, which includes a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi operated even in late October, although you had to ask staff to heat it about 15 min prior to use (quite understandable and ecologically sound not to let it run at full speed all day). Staff was helpful and friendly, although communication in English not always easy. The in-house restaurant had a limited selection of nice food, particularly given that there are few alternatives within walking distance. There is a publically accessible PC and printer in a corner of the restaurant. If you arrive by plane, you can come by public transport (about 1 h and 15 EUR per person) or you can prebook a limo to pick you up (20-30 min, 50 EUR on way in; 40 EUR on way out).
A fantastic hotel with great facilities and very well furnished. The complimentary breakfast/brunch was superior to what I have experienced elsewhere in Rome and helped set you up for the day. The staff insisted you take away any pastries for travels also. Great wifi and balcony view, very private and in a great location close to the Marconi station. A+
Our first trip abroad and we could not be more pleased. From the pick up at the airport, to the delivery back, we were fully 100% pleased. We spent a total of 3 wonderful nights, one at the beginning and 2 at the end of our trip. The hotel is extremely clean, which is super important to us! The breakfast was a great value, a lot of choices, and some of the best food we enjoyed during our 2 week vacation. We enjoyed 2 dinners, which were superb! The metro was a short safe and smooth 5 minute walk. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and extremely personable.
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights last week during a short visit to Rome and must say was the best part of my holidays . A boutique hotel with every facility a great hotel should have to provide maximum comfort for its customers. It's very modern and clean. A feel of tranquility anytime you enter the hotel . The location is also a great plus, less than 5 minutes walk to the train station. Food was equally good. You get free fast wifi anywhere in the hotel . The best part of our stay was a free mobile phone given us for all local calls, internet searches and even tour bookings. All this in addition to the cost per night makes this hotel an excellent choice anytime any day . Will return anytime I visit Rome.
This hotel is perfect for visiting Rome as it is a few stops from the centre of Rome on the metro. The Marconi metro stop is a five minute walk from the hotel and the transport costs are reasonable. We were greeted at the hotel by a lovely lady who made us feel welcome and gave us information on the trips available to be booked via the hotel. The room we had was gorgeous and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Our room had a balcony which we enjoyed using. Breakfast was good and not hurried. In fact from the moment you enter the hotel there is an air of tranquility and calm. We spent time in the open air jacuzzie on the roof top which I would recommend if the temperature allows. If I come back to Rome I will book this hotel again.
