very pleasant

walking distance to downtown and clinic. however, not to St Mary's hospital. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen with washer and dryer and large living room. Don't know if all the apartments are that large. very clean and comfortable. A problem with one of the toilets was fixed within hours. Free parking but no shuttle to hosp or airport.

Cockroaches, Fleas, and a rude owner!

The manager was the only person who was willing to work with me and actually gave me a full refund of my stay due to the apartment being unsanitary. There were cockroaches and I found a flea on my dog. The manager offered a full refund and when it came time for them to give me the refund the owner came with and said he didn't want to do it after I had my bags already packed and ready to go. after much arguing, the owner got upset and stormed out of the apartment leaving the manager and his underage son to figure out the situation. totally unprofessional. I was there due to being sick and being at Mayo clinic and he thought he could take advantage of a sick woman who is 5 hours away from home and out here all by herself. The manager was the only person who did the right thing by giving me my money back since now I have to worry about my service dog potentially having fleas and me bringing home cockroaches and who knows what else. When I was getting the refund the underage kid has the nerve to say, "I hope you realize this is coming out of his money." referring to the manager's money. To be perfectly honest, that is a problem then with the owner and the manager. That kid should have nothing to do with this whole situation. The manager asked that I write something positive and honestly the only positive thing I have was the way he handled it in the end. This is a bad business model that they have. They charge $50 after each time they rent and it is not clean. Gross!

The stay was very nice. The room was very clean. It was quiet and peaceful. It was refreshing to have an entire apartment.
