Hot tub was not working. The room next to me had a party or something that was loud and went on until 2 am, I could not sleep. I called the front desk 5 times, the noise just continued through the night.

Overall, this is an old hotel, but the staff works hard to keep everything clean and operational. It was between 0-20 degrees for our stay, and I was never cold. The hot tub was actually hot, and clean, and the pool was warm and clean as well. Breakfast has a automatic pancake machine, waffle makers, and a dedicated staff member who keeps everything stocked and tables clean. There is an automatic coffee machine, so you have options and it never runs out, and juice machine that is the same. You have eggs and sausage that they keep hot and fresh, and cereal, milk cartons, yogurt, bagels, and toast. If you are looking for ambience, this is the place because it is straight from the 70s and 80s. But it is functional and clean. For a price cheaper than motel 6, it's better than the options that are triple the cost. I'd stay again

Was told by 3 different eployees on the phone and in person we would bot be charged for nights we did not stay. We were there for mayo clinic bisits from 4 hrs away and reserved for 9 nights to be safe for appts. When we checked out front desk again told me that expedia would issue refund after they got it back from hotel. Now hotel refuses to reimberse for the 5 nights we did not stay and after calling for a week straight has never called me back or let me speak to a manager. Now tgey dont even answer the phone. They are a fraud and take advantage of people there for dr. Appt.

The heater leaked alot of cold air around it. The window also leaked a lot of cold air. It was cold to sit at the table and do my work. Pool and hot tub need a cleaning bad. Scum on the walls. Someone on our floor was smoking Marijuana heavely. I had to put a towel to block the smell coming in under the door. Refrigerator makes alot of noise. Very hard to sleep with fridge and heater making noise.

Room was nice, 2 queen beds and a very comfortable recliner, spent the whole night in it! The bathroom was small, but adequate. The TV worked great. The free breakfast was more than sufficient: coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider, orange juice, bread, muffins, bagels with cream cheese, waffles with syrup, apple, oranges, scrambled eggs, and sausages. The staff was helpful and pleasant. AND it is only 1mile from Mayo Clinic!

A little out of date and outside lights were all working. But it was just we needed for a stay at Mayo so I was happy with the kitchenette and the lower nightly rate. They also let me cancel a night when we got discharged early

My husband and i were scheduled for him to have tests and an evaluation for heart surgery at Mayo Clinic. Our first flight was postponed and the airline was unable to change our flights to get us to Mayo in time. It was rhe evening before at 7:05 pm/mt when we found out we would not make the trip. I immediately called to cancel the reservation. I was then told that our money would not be refunded because the notification was too late. The booking was through hotels.com and they tried on 2 different occasions to get the refund from the hotel, but were we not able to.I will never book this hotel again!!!!

Breakfast was cold both days. Could use more variety of fresh fruit besides just apples and oranges. Bathtub was clogged, fridge in room didn't keep food cold.
