Aspen Suites

This hotel is across the street from St Mary's Hospital in Rochester. It is about a mile from downtown Rochester where I had meetings but the walk was pleasant each day and the lodging at the Aspen made it worth the walk. Great suite which is equipped with stove, microwave and refrigerator. Homey environment. Very clean and priced very reasonably. Underground parking. Only fault was slow wifi.

This place was perfect for our purposes. We thought we would only be here 3 or 4 days, but it turned into 8 days. We really appreciated that the kitchen has everything we needed to eat meals in the room (including salt, pepper, toaster, can opener, etc.). It was also nice that they had free laundry facilities. The Orditz price was $125 per night. When we had to extend our stay, the additional nights were the hotel's usual medical rate, $114 per night! I wish I had checked with them directly instead of booking through Orditz.

Aspen Suites provided a very comfortable base for a week-long visit to Rochester. A short drive from Mayo Clinifc and downtown, the suites are very ample, beds comfortable. The buffet breakfast was adequate. The staff is very friendly. The suite included two HD TVs and free Internet - we were well set up.

Great location. Breakfast was Great! Eggs and salsa and cheese with waffles and the lobby is gorgeous. Great value and rooms are spacious and accommodating.

We had appointments at the Mayo Clinic and we had to travel with our newborn. The fridge and microwave were a must but the kitchenette made things even better.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the Staybridge Suites! The room was large and comfortable, there was a full fridge, 2 burners on a stovetop, and a dishwasher. The location is perfect (great restaurant/bar next door with live music on the weekends), the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Rochester.

Almost everyone was either a patient at the Mayo Clinic or relative of a patient. The staff took care to see that we were all OK every day.

Nicer and roomier than the Kahler. Good facilities. Good free breakfast every AM. DVD player in room. free wi-fi

It was very noisy. You could hear the guests above our room. It kept us awake and woke us early in the morning. I was very disappointed. We needed a late check out due to an appointment after surgery. They charged us an extra $75 after we had stayed three nights at about $150 a night. I won't stay here again.

very nice stay...very much enjoyed not having to go out for breakfast

The Staybridge Suites was the best hotel in Rochester especially if you have a loved one in St. Mary's Hospital - it's right across the street. The rooms are very well maintained and immaculate. They have a large refrigerator in the room along with a big microwave and stove. The continental breakfast in the morning is enjoyable and the lobby is friendly. The staff is extremely courteous and are eager to help you with a smile. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Mayo.

WE LIKED IT VERY MUCH AND WILL STAY THERE THE NEXT TIME IN ROCHESTER. NICE TO HAVE A SEPARATE BEDROOM AND 2 TV'S.
