Car service to Mayo Clinic appointments.

The Hilton Garden Inn (like other downtown hotels) is linked to the Mayo Clinic by all-weather skyways and tunnels ("subway"). It is literally across the street from great dining and great bars. It is obviously well-maintained and comfortable, even in social distancing mode.

Great location. Perfect walking distance to mayo and several restaurants

Room, service, location, amenities all very good. Very clean. You can pay a bit less but I felt it was worth the extra dollars.

Very clean and friendly staff. No restaurant for evening meals on site.

Pros: Always liked HGI properties as they have been consistent in quality and what to expect. Good value, nice amenities, generally clean. Cons: If you room was facing a street, expect truck traffic and general rush hour traffic to wake you from 6 am on! HGI have changed their decor to become "minimalist" in furnishings and lighting within the room, BIG MISTAKE! Very uncomfortable and can't see anything! Also, this particular property on the dates we stayed the front desk was horrible in communication skills. Couldn't get clear understanding of parking situation. We had "prepaid" on orbitz for our stay but when we got into the room found out my CC was charged $40 for incidentals which was never even brought up at the time of check in. I had to go down to desk and have them explain why there was a charge and why no one even mentioned it!

Always pleasant and so convenient to mayo.... the only place I stay when I need to visit mayo

I loved that I could use skywalk to Mayo Clinic directly from the hotel. And the hotel is just across the alley from Newt’s which has the best burgers in town!

great access to Mayo and very pleasant staff Very helpful front desk. Nice HoteL!

Really incredible place that always feels like home

This hotel is in downtown Rochester, attached to the mall, walking distance to Mayo. You can park your car and forget it. Great restaurants, nice shopping and very convenient to Mayo Clinic. You never need to go outside if weather is inclement due to great walkway system. The bummer, as of January 1, 2018, their rates are going up about 80%.

Very well kept hotel, great location, staff and breakfast.

Pros: -nice location -the food from Hefe Rojo is great -clean -friendly and accommodating staff Cons: -the towels and linen are washed is some horrible chemicals... I woke up covered head to toe in a rash. They do not offer the option of hypoallergenic linen and towels. -the light fixtures in the room are odd with on/off switches in inconvenient places -the picture of a lady slipper flower in our room was mounted upside down... rather odd!

Descent and clean. Easy to get to Mayo clinic. Banana service was wonderful!

Staff were nice and helpful. They provided a driver to Mayo which was great. Room was comfy and clean. Free wifi. Overall great accommodations!!

This was the first time I've spent time in Rochester within the downtown area. I found it quite surprising how clean and metro-like it was. The nearby Tap Room and or establishments showed some great unique flair.

comfortable, close to mayo clinic, friendly staff,

Close to Gonda and Mayo buildings with direct access to skyway. Car service to Mayo appointments. About a mile from the hospital campus. Convenient to several good restaurants. Buffet breakfast. Cook is enthusiastic. Server was having a bad day. Coffee is so bad it must be special ordered. Beds are nice, but not quite up to the luxury linens of other national chains. Cleaning needs more attention. Dust in the corners, an article of clothing left in corner behind a chair one visit. Hallway and elevator rugs need attention. Staff says renovation in a year or two. I say cleaning up today would make this a great place to stay.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. I apologize we weren't more clear with our parking directions and the incidentals authorization. Thank you again for your time and we will strive to improve our process to prevent this from happening in the future.
