Very well kept hotel, great location, staff and breakfast.

Pros: -nice location -the food from Hefe Rojo is great -clean -friendly and accommodating staff Cons: -the towels and linen are washed is some horrible chemicals... I woke up covered head to toe in a rash. They do not offer the option of hypoallergenic linen and towels. -the light fixtures in the room are odd with on/off switches in inconvenient places -the picture of a lady slipper flower in our room was mounted upside down... rather odd!

Descent and clean. Easy to get to Mayo clinic. Banana service was wonderful!

Staff were nice and helpful. They provided a driver to Mayo which was great. Room was comfy and clean. Free wifi. Overall great accommodations!!

This was the first time I've spent time in Rochester within the downtown area. I found it quite surprising how clean and metro-like it was. The nearby Tap Room and or establishments showed some great unique flair.

comfortable, close to mayo clinic, friendly staff,

Close to Gonda and Mayo buildings with direct access to skyway. Car service to Mayo appointments. About a mile from the hospital campus. Convenient to several good restaurants. Buffet breakfast. Cook is enthusiastic. Server was having a bad day. Coffee is so bad it must be special ordered. Beds are nice, but not quite up to the luxury linens of other national chains. Cleaning needs more attention. Dust in the corners, an article of clothing left in corner behind a chair one visit. Hallway and elevator rugs need attention. Staff says renovation in a year or two. I say cleaning up today would make this a great place to stay.

Very nice hotel in Rochester MN located in downtown entertainment area. Only complaint was the breakfast cost $10.95 although food was good. Need to be a Hyatt rewards member to get free.

The proximity of the hotel to the Mayo Clinic is really the best part. The hotel itself was nice/average. Nothing really stands out one way or another which is not a bad thing. Everything that is except the customer service. That was excellent, at least in my experience there this time. It was during the crazy winter storm and I had arrived miserable to find I was not in the room I had initially asked for so they gave me a free upgrade which was really nice of them. It's too rare in their industry that we see that sort of service unfortunately. Either way though I don't believe staying here can be a bad decision. Food off the room service is not great but you can order in from almost any restaurant in town so no big deal. Overall I would go again.

After a horrible experience at a different hotel in Rochester the previous night, the Hilton Garden Inn downtown was an amazing alternative. We were in town to visit friends and the Garden Inn was very clean with great amenities and a great staff. We arrived late and everything was taken care of. The staff even went and got my car from down the street to park it for us. I will be staying here again when I am in Rochester next. Great value for the money and a very easy place to stay. The only con would be the location if you do not want to be downtown.

My husband and I stay here frequently as he is a patient at Mayo Clinic. Always a clean and nice stay. Don't get to enjoy breakfast due to early morning blood work, but always looks wonderful

I would recommend this hotel . It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to provide courteous service.

I used this hotel for a place to stay at a meeting I was attending. The people were very helpful: "Where can I get a great burger?" "Behind the hotel on the next block." The room was fine and there was no noise other than the sirens from the street.

Husband was patient at Mayo Clinic - Quarterly review for 1 Day. [...] Hate to pay the additional $12.00 parking but all hotels near Mayo are the same as well as parking on your own.I have stayed in two other towns while husband in hospital and both offer discounts for patient's families --- Don't think they that any hotels do that near Mayo

Three night stay for 2 day visit to the Mayo Clinic. Missed not having a resturant in the Hotel for evening meal. Plenty of places were available nearby. This was much better than the hotel where I had to use a shuttle.

Great location to Mayo Clinic. Clean, peaceful and very friendly staff. Will stay there again

Excellent room...helpful staff.

Clean, comfortable. Very close to all Mayo facilities and connected by skyway to the downtown area which is great for bad weather. It was a great location for business.
