I liked how close in proximity this hotel is to all the Mayo Clinic facilities and how easy it was to get around. I didn't like that everything was shut down (it IS covid pandemic so its understandable) but even the water costs an arm and a leg ($3 a bottle at front desk..)

Location is convenient as it is across the street from the Mayo Clinic and connected by pedestrian subways

Close proximity to Mayo clinic and restaurants all within walking distance. We didn't like the heating/cooling system, which wasn't working properly. Very close quarters parking ramp and driving in the parking ramp narrow passage ways very little room meeting other vehicles. Otherwise was all good staff very friendly and helpful.

The room accommodations are meager at best. The room is dingy, the bathroom was disgusting. The tub just looked filthy even though they cleaned, no water pressure, the toilet was on a tilt and the sink didn't drain well. The only good thing is the location being close to the Mayo Clinic. Otherwise, I would not recommend to stay at the Kahler Inn .

Can't get a better location. Breakfast was well stocked and staffed. Room was clean and large. Bathroom was a bit dated and the sink counter was awkwardly close to the door, but there was nothing really wrong with it.

I've stayed at the Kahler a few times and must say I choose it only for the convenience to the Mayo Clinic - you don't have to walk outside and can take the subway. What is disappointing: 1) even though check out is late morning - our keys were deactivated before actual checkout time and we couldn't use our room up to the full time we paid for. 2) sheets were very clean but had pin holes in them 3) Toilet lid was detached from the base 4) breakfast had no protein sources such as eggs, sausage, meat of any kind. 4) No microwave in the room - - - don't they advertise there are microwaves(?) None of these are necessarily "deal-breakers" by themselves but what really angered me and put me over the edge is that I was charged for the water that was provided in the room. Two bottles of water setting by the little coffee bar on top of fridge. I drank them and was charged $2.50 each for them. I was told - after I was billed - that there are tags on the water saying you will be charged sooo - I can't argue that the responsibility wasn't mine to pay attention butttttt - we never used to be charged and I assumed the tags were merely an advertisement as has always been the case. Now I know and lesson learned on my part for sure.

The room was clean and quiet, the shower was hot, and the breakfast was fantastic! The proximity to the Mayo Clinic was great- the subway is heated so I didn’t even need a coat to go to appointments. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Convenient location to the CC via skywalk and tunnels, especially appreciated in the winter months. Come to find out only certain rooms have a microwave, all have a frig. Staff and ambiance very pleasant. Certainly our choice when in the area.

Good location proximity to Mayo Clinic. Smell at the hotel as walk in was unpleasant. Room had dirty towels from previous guest hanging on the door. Breakfast quality was poor - no eggs and juice labels did not match the actual content.

Perfect location for patients of Mayo Clinic. Sandwich shop, Coffee Shop and restaurant on site and all good. Connected to subway so don't have to walk outside in cold weather. Comfortable rooms, good wifi and cable tv.
