The hotel is rundown. The room we were staying at had broken furniture, stains on the mattress, stains on the furniture. The description and photos look nothing like the resort, we are very disappointed.
They don't provide enough water bottles in your room. No water bottles at any restaurants. They said the water is “filtered” which we also ended up having bad stomach virus. You have to buy additional water bottles. I had to buy additional water bottles, they would not provide enough water!
The breakfast room service is not included even though this is a “all inclusive resort”
Check in is confusing! They don't escort you to your room. No welcome drinks at the lobby.
The lobby layout is strange and outdated, you don't even see the ocean.
The buffet breakfast and dinner was stale and always the same.
Sakura restaurant the chicken was dry and the steak tasted like rubber. We were not warned of the sargassum on the beach and ocean prior to our booking,
The smell was so bad and horrific that we were nauseous the entire stay! We wanted a room further away from the ocean and they said it would be an extra charge! The hotel did not accommodate us at all!
We couldn't even swim in the ocean.
The line for the coffee shop was always long, they only have one staff member.
The hotel and room was nothing as described on the website. I was told that I would be given an update about the sargassum on the beach and nobody from staff updated us. Bar tenders were not friendly
