Everything was fine, for the price I wouldn’t go back. Food was eh, there should be a quiet adults only pool, no food at the pools at all, hardly any lunch options, there was an upcharge for the better alcohol. Wasn’t worth it.

Comfortable beds and house keeping was excellent. We did have a problem with both our sinks not draining but it was fixed promptly when notified. Buffet food was good and expected for buffet. Didn’t get a chance to try any other restaurants on the property. Tons of activities throughout the day and good entertainment at night. Always something to do you don’t have to leave the resort if you don’t want to. Nice beach area but be aware of someone always trying to sell you something.

The main thing I would say is a hotel with so much potential. If it was a 4 star hotel I would give it 5/5, but in my experience it was not 5 stars. I found the service overall poor. I think the buffet staff were understaffed and over worked. Most of them looked miserable. We had to ask for drinks and they would normally arrive after we finished eating. We would have to wait 5-10 minutes for a table, even though half of them were empty. We went to the Route 66 restaurant and the saff member was on the phone, didn't even look at us and walked awa. A moment later returned with another staff memeber. For 10 seconds we waited and they said nothing, until we said good afternoon, how are you, in a sarcastic way. Everything was upsale. It shouldn't be called all-inclusive. It should be called= The basics-included. Because everywhere you had to pay extra. Normally when I go to an all-inclusive hotel, that is what I expect, all-inclusive. If we wanted a table guaranteed we had to buy a bottle of wine. Apparently Jack Daniels, and Smirnof Vodka are "premium" products. It truly was a beautiful location. But a combination of fairly rude staff and upsale everywhere I don't think I would go back.

Our stay at Ocean Riviera Paradise was a mix of positives and challenges. The resort is large, visually appealing, and offers many pools, restaurants, and activities for families and couples. The grounds are well maintained, and several staff members in the restaurants and common areas were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by an issue with our original room. We booked and paid for a pool-view room, but shortly after arrival we encountered a pest issue. Hotel staff offered pest control and asked us to remain in the same room, but my wife did not feel safe or comfortable doing so. We requested a room change and were moved to a cheaper room category. The property declined to refund the price difference for the downgraded room, which was disappointing given the circumstances. After follow-up, Expedia provided us with a travel credit, which we appreciated, but this resolution came from Expedia rather than the property itself. While the resort has many strengths—including amenities, food options, and overall atmosphere—the handling of this situation was frustrating and left us disappointed. With better accountability and guest support when room issues arise, this could be a much stronger experience. I would recommend the resort for its facilities, but management should improve how guest concerns are resolved.

Pretty much everything was really good. Needs lights in the morning to walk to the beach for sunrise. The halls,stairs, and walkway were completely dark. The Italian restaurant was great, other than that I’d stick with the buffet.

Our 4 night stay at ocean reviera was great. We enjoyed our entire stay in the resort. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and the service was great. Our Kids enjoyed the water park, swimming pools , beach, bowling and the games in family lounge. Mike's coffee was great and the service from the staff was exceptional. Special mention for the restaurant Amranto and the staff. We are vegetarians and kids prefer indian food. The staff took extra care to prepare special food for us and the service was great..

Unfortunately, our stay at Ocean Riviera Paradise was far below expectations. This resort markets itself as a luxury destination, but the reality was closer to an overcrowded, poorly managed property. The resort is massive, which might sound appealing, but in practice it means long walks everywhere, constant waiting, and feeling lost rather than relaxed. Getting around was exhausting, and the shuttles were inconsistent and unreliable. Service was extremely hit-or-miss. Some staff were polite, but many appeared overwhelmed or uninterested. Requests were often ignored or took multiple follow-ups, which is unacceptable for a resort of this price range.

Worst all inclusive we have ever stayed at. No way this is 5 star more like 3 maybe. Pool towels were out the whole week. went the first 48hrs not able to find towels. There are hardly any bars on site and the few that there are all close between 4-6pm.(This just depends on when they feel like closing.) Food at restaurants is very mediocre. The buffet is decent, but most all food is miss labeled and they only have one person cooking in the morning, so breakfast eggs take forever to get cooked fresh. Bowling alley has 6 lanes, only 4 worked the first day and then a couple days later there was only one working lane. When arrived they said let us know if your mini fridge needs filled and we will re stock that day for you. Not true, you pay extra if you wish to have your fridge restocked during the day. The beach is not good at all and the ocean is all rocks and sea weed. There are any restrooms right next to the ocean pool and no swim up bar at the ocean pool.(They do have on waitress on site there to order drinks, but it is only one person.) The beach tends to smell most of the time due to all of the sea weed that washes up every day onto the beach. Sports bar doesn't open until 4pm and it is really just a bar with a handful of tvs. No games or anything in this space and then it turns into the night club at 11pm. The shows in the evening are awful, nothing like most other all inclusive resorts and definitely not what you would expect from a 5 star.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Riviera Paradise Resort. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a room with a rooftop terrace, which was a huge highlight and made our experience even more special. The food was amazing, with great variety and quality, and all of the staff were wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always helpful. The drinks were very good, and the entire resort is super beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and a great atmosphere. The beach area was clean and nice—maybe not the best beach we’ve ever seen, but definitely enjoyable and well cared for. Our room was spotless, and room service was excellent throughout our stay. One fun added bonus was seeing monkeys running around the resort, which made the experience even more memorable. We highly recommend booking the snorkeling package to Isla Mujeres. It was absolutely amazing—small group, great organization, and such a fun experience. Shuttle, drinks, and food were all included, which made it totally stress-free and awesome. Overall, an incredible resort and a fantastic vacation. We would happily come back!

Pros: Ariz and the butler staff were amazing and attentive. Seeing the monkeys in the morning was a highlight. The El Beso pool was nice. In room tub was wonderful for bubble baths. Cons: Rooms were very run down. We started in one room and were moved to a second because of multiple issues with the first. The second was much better but was not without issues. Privilege pool floor was broken and crumbling in spots. Food overall was ok. Buffet was ok for dinner. Lo Locando and Sakura were good. Route 66 and the Steak House were not good. Trolley was great. Sports Bar doesn’t open for 1pm NFL games if that matters to you. Asked almost every day (more than once) if we wanted to sit through a presentation. Finally, if you like to go into downtown PDC taxi cost $25-$27 each way. This is our 5th all inclusive in PDC and was our least favorite due to the quality of rooms and the food.
