I didn't like the AC, plumbing systems and having guests makes a lot of noise. The room we started to stay had water leak from the wall, so we changed the room. However, the new room was smaller size than the first one. Reception told that except the first one all rooms are same size and if I am not happy with new room size, I need to pay extra for a bigger room. We were not happy with this change due to something out of our control.
Front desk staff during check in were unpleasant. Waterpark is small but clean and fun. Arcade is decent and kids had a good time.
The facility overall is in a good condition. Easy parking, awesome aquapark, and clean room. The hotel is super close to grocery store and gas station. Wifi was fast enough to check emails and surf the net. Can't complaint about that. What i didn't like was parking price, lack of breakfast and coffee. Well, you do have coffee maker in the room but usually hotels provide fresh brewed coffee in the lobby. Also, i didn't like that my room didn't have a balcony, but i guess i would have to pay more for such a convivence. My judgement is based on comparison to American and South American hotels, where breakfast and coffee usually are standard. Especially in South America. Maybe it is a Canadian thing and standard.
Didnt like anything abt this place. What a dump, old, smelled and I dont think this place has ever been renovated since built. The dodge cosmetic fixa-uppers. Dont be fooled by the connivence of the waterpark thinking its convenient thats the rip-off. For the amount you are paying, I think Super 8 is much nicer. My mother always says if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything. Coz I am not impressed at all. Oh they literally “hold $200” at check in for damage. Supposedly will be returned after 3days. Include it in your price breakdown of reservation etc. coz that was a nasty surprise. What if I didn’t have the “money”. Budgeted to the penny!!

Sometimes the games in the archade didn't work but staff fixed the issue right away. Check in was long. You can come earlier to avoid the lines.
Americana is perfect for family fun! We were not impressed with the extra cost of parking for the 6 families we booked in, which came to a ridiculous amount!! Over $700.00!!! Highway robbery!
The property is in decent shape, small things like shower heard, toilet flush handle and sliding door could use some maintenance.

Hello Rudo, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. We hope that any issues you had regarding your stay were addressed at the time. We are actually renovating the hotel still at this time but 90% of our rooms have been updated. The 200 deposit is required at check in or prior to and is listed on all websites this is an authorization and does release at check out.
