The property in the room were dirty. The bedding was stained the towels and washcloths were stained. The floors had debris and was dirty. We went in and at first glance knew we were not going to stay in that room. They offered another room. The bedding had cigarette holes burned into them, but the bedding looked clean and was not stained, same with the towels, so we decided to spend the night there. Neither of us would walk without shoes on because the carpet was dirty and we opted not to shower the next morning for the same reason we certainly passed on the complementary breakfast. As I was checking in, another guest walked out with his dog, a German Shepherd, and although on a leash, the leash was not being held by the guest. Only good luck kept us safe from a dog attack. The clerk in the lobby did not say anything to that guest regarding the way that dog was being handled.
