The check in staff were some of the more unfriendly staff members I’ve encountered. I know hospitality is a hard line of work so I come in & try be as pleasant as possible. Usually it’s returned to me. This was completely different. The gentleman checking us in was one of the most unpleasant people I’ve dealt with. When we asked about the pool later he was rude. There was no pool but we thought there had been. There were even signs that had pool covered with folded paper & tape as if there had been. When we tried to eat our dinner in the lobby area, a gentleman behind the bar watched us set up all of our food for us & the kids, then we walked over as we started to eat, to tell us that we couldn’t eat there unless it was hotel food & we needed go to another area two tables over. He wasn’t apologetic or empathetic. He was flat & rude. We made a mistake but he acted as if we were inconveniencing him and all of his non-business going on at the bar or lobby area. The room was nice & spacious… that’s the good thing. The staff even on check out seemed as if they hated their jobs by rolling their heads around while people walked out. Definitely only worth the room & nothing else.

The room and hotel was clean and I was upgraded to a suite but, it was for a handicapped person and the bed was very very low. I just had back surgery which the bathroom was perfect but not the bed.

As a retired soldier you can sleep just about anywhere except these beds, they were so uncomfortable and the hotel does not have a process in place to add additional clerks for check in for taking in people during bad weather it took an hour just to check in with one clerk!

I had stayed at this hotel once before some years ago and had a good experience. This second time however, was less so. Pros: Very close to airport—less than 10 mins to car rental facility. Easy parking. Spacious rooms. Quiet. Overall a decent location. Cons: No internet connection in my room (for reasons unknown). Very shabby/beat up looking dresser and sofa bed. No table with sofa. Bed was basically on the floor, with no box spring or raised platform, and the mattress was heavily worn, with a deep depression on the one side in line with the wall mounted TV. No doors on the wall closet and only a couple-three, old hangars on the railing. Bathroom towel rack and TP holder both hanging loosely off the wall. Room had an overall shabby, almost fleabag motel appearance. Seriously doubt that I would stay here again.
