It is not close to anything at all. Had to take a tram daily to do anything. The bathroom is really small and the rooms are not soundproof, you hear everything. No amenities whatsoever, would not recommend for long stay.

The staff as Hotel Fogo were excellent, very welcoming and helpful. As for the room, I felt the bed was very uncomfortable and the room was small, I could barely turn round in the bathroom. Also the breakfast its self was reasonable but the organisation was a shambles, had to constantly keep asking for cutlery and the food was very slow to be replaced once ran out. On both days I also had to sit at a table which was far too low and uncomfortable to eat your breakfast from.

I stayed here and an hour after I checked in a guy that has a room service shirt on insisted that they had to put the sheer window curtain up right then. I asked if it couldn’t be done tomorrow when I checked out. He responds by barging in my room, and visually inspecting all of my belongings. Only to suddenly be okay with coming back tomorrow. Do not trust this hotel not to go through your stuff. It was so blatant I left had to stay somewhere else because I didn’t trust that they weren’t going to barge in on my in the middle of the night, or go through my things when I was gone.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. They offer breakfast for an additional fee. There's is a McDonald's right next door that was excellent for middle of the night snacking. The room was small compared to the US, but you have what you need - bed, tv, and bathroom. Our room, I didnt like the bathroom. Other than it being really tiny, there was an odor emitting from the bathroom. The shower doors didn’t keep the water from getting everywhere. There is no ventilation which explains the odor. The #1 tram is within walking distance to get you to the middle of everything. Just be mindful of your time. The trams end at midnight.

Hotel is close to airport. It was basic but nice and staff was very helpful. Room is small but expected that when booking. Bathroom was too small for my liking. If you are looking for a place to lay your head down for a quick trip this hotel serves that purpose, but not for a long stay.
