Myself & my boyfriend stayed in the Muse hotel, from the start it was a really lovely experience, the staff are so welcoming & friendly, the receptionist was so polite & gave us some useful points on the map for when we were out & about without us having to ask, the rooms were clean, comfortable & modern. I will 100% staying here again when I return to Amsterdam.
We stayed here for two nights and found the staff to be helpful, the amenities fine, and the location, in a neighborhood in between the Museum District and the The Pijp, quite acceptable. The bathroom was tiny but the rooms were quiet. The lounge and garden sitting area were a nice addition to this "boutique" venue. I would recommend this hotel for those seeking a relaxed, neighborhood locale in this bustling city.
I booked the Muse as it was ventral to my recent visit half way between my old street and the Center. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was small (as expected), but exactly what I needed and ideal for the short stay. I returned a week later for a second stay, this time in a larger balcony room, which again was comfortable and absolutory meet my needs. I'll book again for my next visit when I'm in need of accommodation.
Nice, clean, friendly and accomodated with taste. The breakfast room is not great but good enough. The location is good if you go for the rijksmuseum, Vondelpark and Van Gogh. We liked the proximity of shops, cafés and restaurants.
The hotel was what you would expect for the money you pay. Average rooms, but a decent size. The staff were wonderful. I mean they give you free prosecco on arrival 🥂. They also found out it was mine and my boyfriend's anniversary, and surprised us by covering the room in rose petals and heart shaped balloons 🌹❤️ - lovely! The only non-perfection was that the bathroom floor got very wet from the shower and needed to be dried with towels. Not an issue because they brought fresh towels every day.
The Muse Amsterdam is well located. It is on a quiet street but close to many museums and the rest of Amsterdam is easily accessible via the nearby tram routes. We had two rooms during our five night stay and the comfort double was quite adequate in terms of size if you plan to be out and about most of the day. The hotel service was outstanding. They helped with many questions regarding museum tickets and arranged a rental car for us. We also enjoyed the availability of coffee, tea and cold drinks at no charge 24 hours per day. We would stay there again.
A compact hotel in a quiet area with connection to all modes of transport. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The nearness to gardens and museums is a definite plus. The hotel offers breakfast only. However, a number of good restaurants are in the vicinity and offer good food.
Lovely find for a quick trip to Amsterdam in summer. Area was quiet but accessible by trams/buses. Hotel staff very friendly & room adequate for our trip. Welcome drink & complimentary soft drinks in the room were also a nice touch.
Location close to museums but no other attractions. The so-called small double room is really small, only one chair for two people! There is a narrow, uncomfortable staircase leading to the 6th floor room, no elevator and no person to help carry your luggage. Too expensive.
Nice hotel in a quiet side street not far from the Van Gogh museum and the Rjiksmuseum. Great public transport links to busier tourist areas. Mira, the duty receptionist, was very welcoming and friendly She was able to point us in the direction of all the places we wanted to see and make suggestions of best times to visit. A complementary nice cold glass of Prosecco on arrival was a nice touch as was the free non alcoholic minibar in our room. Both were much appreciated on a hot June day. The breakfast room was available for making tea, coffee and hot chocolate whenever we wanted a hot drink. The hotel breakfast was worth the money and set us up so well we didn't need lunch. We stayed in a what was described as a small twin room but it was as big as many standard hotel rooms I've stayed in and the en suite bathroom was compact but more than adequate. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.
