La planta baja es un gran lugar para dejar a los niños jugar y dormir (un conjunto de literas y un futón se establecen en la planta baja). Una mesa de futbolín, mesa de juego, y un segundo televisor mantener a todos ocupados.

Dos dormitorios, uno con una cama king-size y la otra con una cama de matrimonio, se establecen arriba, junto a un baño completo. Todas las 10 personas tienen un lugar para descansar entre las cinco camas y sofá-cama.

La playa en Yachats es otra cosa. Con menos gente y un montón de piscinas naturales para explorar, te encantará pasar horas caminatas por la playa, que persigue gaviotas, la construcción de castillos de arena, surf y mucho más. Paseo por la ciudad para ir de compras y cenar en restaurantes deliciosos como The Green Shop Salmón café y Luna Sea Fish House. Great stay!

We loved the layout of this home as we could spread out on different floors, we really enjoyed the hot tub, and the view from the deck and the living room was gorgeous! It was a little bit longer walk to the beach than we expected, but the walk to town was easy. Unfortunately, the kitchen situation was a little funky, there wasn’t a single regular frying pan on which we could cook the eggs or pancakes we planned, and there also wasn’t any salt and pepper. Other than that, we loved this home!

Weekend stay in Yachets

The house has a great view and lots of room. However the Futon in the basement was not able to be used as a bed like described in the listing. There are a lot of trees and bushes on the property and the ones in the drive way and by the stairs leading up to the front door need to be cut back. It is a close walk down the hill to town and the beach.

House was fine but lack of attention to certain things lacking

After checking in, we had to make several calls to Vacasa customer service as we couldn't unlock the hot tub and the bath tub drain was broken. The hot tub was secured closed with a cable and large padlock. It took a couple of calls to determine there was a code area which was obscured as the entire lock sat on the decking and it was dark. The code provided was not correct. A local person came by the next day and had to cut the cable. Make sure if you rent this home with small children that the hot tub lid has again been secured and that the small stool is placed somewhere away from the hot tub. Another problem was that the bathtub couldn't be used as the lever system to close the drain was broken. It had apparently been broken since 2021? Another issue was that there was only one, small frying pan that wasn't too "icky" to use. By "icky" I mean that the pan was damaged and worn out. Of the two remotes for the living room TV, only one functioned, or had anything to do with the TV. The one that did function clearly needs to be replaced, as the buttons seem to be worn out. The sound (stuck sometimes at a volume of 27 and mostly on Netflix) was also a nuisance. There is an odd smell in the basement which smelled something like varnish. It lessened with the window being kept open. It's also odd that only a starter amount of toilet paper and paper towels are available. We had to buy toilet paper, which I think should be included. No access to a host or owner was annoying.

Fun and beautiful

We loved staying in the cute little village of Yachats! Thankfully we brought plenty of food because there are few restaurants and groceries nearby. The house was really fun for 6 kids and 4 adults. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with cooking items, even a rice cooker and basic spices that we used. The lighter was helpful to do a fire on the beach across the street and make s’mores. The listing said two twin beds and those were just roll out beds in the basement, not real beds in a bedroom. It took us an hour to figure out how to plug the hot tub in and get it heating up. Overall, we loved this cute house and the view was gorgeous. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean, eating blackberry cobbler from wild blackberries we picked, smelling the lilacs and watching hummingbirds, while my kids played with the friends we were staying with.

Great overall, some of the property management choices are odd, like not enough garbage bags and the trash cans upon arrival were full. Did not deter us from a great vacation though!

Great view and location

Loved the huge windows onto the deck with a tremendous ocean view. The kitchen was small but had all the necessary equipment to cook our dinners. There are a lot of steps to reach the front door, but the back entrance has stepping stones leading up the hill which was a little easier. The bedrooms were nicely sized. The Sofa bed is really a futon in a lower level game room and the twin beds are roll aways kept in a closet. This was the room I stayed in and it had a musty smell. I ran the dehumidifier the entire time which helped but was noisy. I ended up sleeping in the recliner because the futon wasn't very comfortable. My friends loved their rooms and beds- so don't get the short straw when it's time to choose where you sleep!

Great view and location!

We all had a great time staying here. The views of the ocean from the balconies were stunning and the town center was easily walkable. The kitchen had more than enough to easily cook a few meals. Overall the house was great, clean and easy to check in.

Family Fun in great location

The house worked great for our family group of 8. Location was walking distance to town and beach. House was clean and well equipped Beds were our only issue as they were soft and lumpy. Sheets were somewhat scratchy. Not a big enough issue to not stay again if in area

Can't believe how lucky I was to stay here

The location is amazing. It was so quite, yet was just a couple blocks walk to all the restaurants and pubs in Yachats. The two balconies with ocean views were so relaxing. I'm afraid to say more as I don't want everyone to book this place as I hope to stay again soon.

Wonderful Home & Location

Wow. Thank you. Our family spent 2 nights here on our spring break road trip “quest” to see all OR lighthouses. We are so glad we did. Cape Perpetua is minutes away, the Drift Inn just down the road treated us to DELICIOUS food, and the market and Green Salmon coffee were blocks away. All was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Very nice house with beautiful views

The whole family loved this house. The only bummer was the 10am checkout, which is earlier than anyplace we've rented before, even with increased cleaning during COVID. Wish they'd been flexible with that even to allow 11am. Otherwise it was a lovely place in a lovely location.

Bummer Birthday Trip

Arrived at this great house hoping to take a nice hot tub as I work on my feet at the hospital. Brought my family to celebrate my birthday weekend. Hot tub was green, slimy and hair in it! Got out there in my PJs 7:30am drained, cleaned, filled as Mgr didn’t prioritize it. I booked the home for the TUB!! No discount, compensation, communication.

Peaceful Oceanside retreat

The house is conveniently located with a view of the ocean, a short walk to tide pools and a walkable beach and a short drive to other natural attractions. The large living room window affords a spectacular view of the beach and sunset. The basement has a foosball table. Beds were comfortable. The house itself is well stocked with cooking gear and equipment but no spices or dry goods so bring your own. We were able to make Thanksgiving dinner with the tools we found. The one caveat was that Vacasa only provides a starter supply of toiletries, laundry and dish soap and toilet paper. So beware: you must bring your own. This was tough during Covid times when we wanted to avoid crowds and had expected adequate TP, laundry and dish soap. It took me three phone calls, but I was able to convince Vacasa to bring more supplies for us so we wouldn’t have to interact with the locals. We would definitely stay there again.

Family weekend stay in Yachats

The house itself is very nice, and the owners put in nice furniture, decor, kitchen items, books...very well done. The view is pretty good, and the convenience is just great-you can walk to restaurants, the beach, etc. This was our first stay in Yachats, and we loved it. However, there were a few issues when we checked in. The floors were pretty dirty-it looked like it probably hadn't been vacuumed in awhile (dirt, food, crumbs, crayons...crumbs on the chairs as well). The sinks still had food bits from the last guests, and there was no dishwasher soap. I didn't want to call anyone (no cell phone service anyway), so thankfully there was a vacuum and I just took care of it. Also, the pillows and mattresses were all pretty lumpy...probably time to get to get those replaced.

Comfortable house with pretty view

We enjoyed this comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood that was walkable to shops and restaurants. It was very clean; kitchen was well stocked; and the three levels made it easy to find a quiet spot. However, if you have young children, it’s not easily walkable to a beach. It’s a bit of a trek and there are no sidewalks to get there. Otherwise, it was a great house!

The pictures don’t do this house justice. You can see and hear the ocean from the house. It has many big windows for light and great views. The house has all the comforts of a home , very clean and beautiful. Highly recommend it ❤️
