Wonderful hot tub in bedroom of garden suite

Unique place that is probably nicer in the summer when the garden is blooming and the trees have leaves. Tea time was fun and the pool area is nice. Our room was a bit rough around the edges: not sparkling tub, dirty baseboards, a bit of mildew in the shower. They had fertilised the garden beds and the smell was quite off-putting. Between that and the sulphur smell the only escape was the dining room and lobby.

We had a wonderful long weekend. Staff was attentive and helpful on our first visit to Ashland. Responded promptly when there was an issue with other guests. We definitely could tell we were there "off season" but we still made use of most of the facility, including the hot-tub. We'll certainly return. Would love to see it when the gardens are in bloom.

Beautiful property. Very relaxing feel to the room. Front desk staff wonderfully helpful

A nice big tub!

Very clean

The spa bungalow, breakfast and staff are stand outs. Will definitely be back!

Stayed one night at this lovely property. Staff was excellent and friendly and the room he couldn’t ask for more. Cute tea room and wine bar were offered and breakfast in the morning. Property was beautiful and close enough to town to be convenient. I’ll definitely come back and stay more than one night.

The landscaping and gardens invited folks to slow down and settle into a cozy nook to watch the humming birds or read a book. I went with several family units, and looked forward to waiting for folks with kids to organize their family unit for some planned activity - "I'll just wait for you near the koi pond" and was very happy to do so! We also loved the wine garden and playing board games.

Beautiful property!

Very nice place. I bet it is beautiful in the spring. Be sure to ask for a room with hot tub if that is what you are wanting. The management is very responsive as well.

Beautiful property in a great town. The mineral springs are the highlight, so therapeutic and relaxing. My only complaint was the bed was way too soft, hurt my back so didn’t sleep well.

This is such a sweet treat! The healing waters and the grounds are amazing. The staff are kind and friendly and the place just sparkles.

Loved it, will get a little larger room next time.

The room was spacious and clean and appeared to have been remodeled fairly recently and done nicely. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the property was quiet, and we had a private balcony overlooking a grassy courtyard. The front desk staff was helpful in recommending the Lark restaurant inside the Ashland Springs Hotel; dinner was excellent. Now, every hotel has its issues, and the beautiful Lithia Springs is no exception. There was a large stain on the carpet in the room, cable and electrical cords were hanging from the wall-mounted TV, and I was surprised the grounds were somewhat neglected. Bushes needed trimming, lots of milkweed in the grass, which also needed cutting, and parts of the hotel's exterior needed touch-up paint. The hotel sign at the street entrance looked like they tried to save money, and the landscaping maintenance at the same area had weeds. Not a good first impression for hotel guests. We have stayed in Ashland many times on our way north and back, and I had always wanted to stay at this hotel. I was a bit surprised and disappointed about the hotel's maintenance. I got the impression the hotel was trying to save money by skimping on the landscaping maintenance. We did not have time to use the spa. Breakfast was pretty good; the bacon was yummy. I would definitely stay there again. I hope my comments help both potential guests and the hotel. It really is a lovely property; it just needs more TLC and attention to detail. 1st impressions R everything.
