Perfect location for any downtown activities, including OSF. Easy parking (not a given in Ashland). Breakfast buffet just meh, as is most of them.
Daytime staff was professional and helpful, nighttime staff was young people who felt the need to repeat themselves over and over, as if being a senior automatically made one deaf.
The pet-friendly rooms are in a separate building across the parking lot from the lobby and main building. The room was adequate, clean and quiet. The room layout was not well-thought out, some wasted space. Opening the bathroom door blocks access to the coffee maker and fridge, which is a nuisance with a pet that needs to get to food/water bowls at all times.
Overall, would recommend to those visiting Ashland with their dog. Cats not allowed, BTW.
