We loved our stay at this hotel! It was perfect! Price, location, conditions. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Hotel was quiet and relaxing. We can't wait to stay here again and plan to bring our children with us next time.

Older hotel in ideal location for University and downtown. This is an older hotel but recently refurbished, including new carpeting. Morning included continental breakfast was nice. Downtown just five minutes by car. We will definitely stay here again.

Huge hairball on the towels. Kinda ratty but aights. Clerk was super nice. Kinda place where is everything is turned off to conserve power, maybe it's slow season? It's okay.

Very very old beds, towels , linens. Showering in ankle deep backed up water; sink does not drain. Bad smell upon entering. Steep metal steps up to top floor are nearly rusted through and sinking. Owners should make code safe or sell. Great location and staff: shame it has not been maintained.

Im sure this ranbling hotel was nice back in the day but is in need of repsirs snd updating. It seems like its a kive in hotel for students more than travelers. The stairs (there lots) are so rusted that im sure an insoector would close the place down. Everything appears superclean but old cracked refrigerators, rusty stices, dingy bedding makes you leave here with a feeling of unease

Lovely room. A short distance from downtown. Friendly, helpful staff. Only thing to make it perfect would be hotter water in the spa!

My one major complaint: The large all tile shower had no bars for us old (86)/unsteady/infirm folks to hang onto. The 15 minute shower was a death-defying experience.

We stay here when we go to the Ashland theater. It is a bit south of town so we need a car, however, it is quiet and has several choices for breakfast (included). There are two pools (inside and out) and a sauna. They were redoing the roof during our stay so improvements are kept up. We like it and will stay here again. There are also other places to eat not too far away. Drawbacks: Most dining in area closes at 9:00PM and breakfast at the Cedarwood is only between 7-9AM.

There was an overpowering chlorine smell in the room, so obviously it had been cleaned, but I suggest they use a less toxic cleaner. Rommel spray helped and the staff was considerate.

A reasonable place to stay in Ashland....it's not the freshest property on the block...but the staff is very nice, the continental breakfast is all you could ask for in a self-service operation, and rooms are size-wise pretty generous. Wi Fi worked well. TVs are analogs with digital converters...not for a sports fan! A good value for the price.

Everything is a little quirky at Cedarwood Inn, but the price to value ratio is still good. Recommended if you're on a budget.

Cedarwood is a quirky little place, but it's clean, convenient, and economical. I've stayed there for all my trips to Ashland and will stay there again next time.

The Cedarwood is the place we stay in Ashland for the festival. It is old but clean and they are doing remodeling right now. The one bed rooms are small and can be a bit tight going from the bedroom to the bathroom but meets the need. The tv was having a hard time turning off but it worked. The air conditioner worked fine. It is in a quiet section on the Northern section of town. We have never eaten the breakfast there since we go to Morning Glory and enjoy their great breakfasts each day we are there. Cedarwood is quiet and clean but nothing fancy. Good bargain.

This is the second time I've stayed at Cedarwood. Everything went well both times. It's a fantastic value and a nice little hotel. I would stay there again without hesitation.

the rm was teeny tiny, old double bed, old fashion TV, no elevator (we were 3 levels up). The a/c didn't work well. The breakfast & coffee was not good (bad breads!). But, the pools were very nice, close to town. Maybe the suites were nicer, don't know. We went out to a Wonderful dinner at Peerless (elegant, delicious, fabulous atmosphere inside & out, good music, excellent food, nice shade, near RR tracks), went to plays (always fun), walked in gorgeous Lithia Park.

We had no experience at this hotel because the owner cancelled our reservation prior to our arrival without any notice to us either with direct communication or through this site. We only found out because we called from the road to say we'd be arriving late that night. he was rude an unapologetic and refused to help us sort it out. We never made it to Ashland that night and luckily stayed last minute at the anither hotel, which was completely the opposite in service.

Easy to find good enough for a nites stay. Needs a little fix up.

I stayed at Cedarwood Inn in Ashland Oregon in early April and again about eight days later. I needed a hotel twice because of visiting old growth forests in the region deep in the mountains. The manager Bob and staff Sky let me leave my car at the hotel parked out back near the shed while I was gone at no charge which was great. They have a wonderful breakfast which includes hard boiled eggs and bisquits and gravy. Nice people, nice hotel, staying there again in May, 2013. Casey

Everything I needed for a night's stay, friendly staff, clean room.
