Quiet and peaceful cottage close to downtown

Come retreat in our oasis during your stay in Ashland! Charming 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, tucked away from the busy boulevard, with a lovely outdoor space to relax in. Our cottage is over 1000 square feet and has a full kitchen and comfortable living space. There is a pullout couch that converts to a full size, flexsteel (no metal bar running down the middle like most sofa beds) bed. Upstairs is a beautiful queen size bed, with high quality linen's, a feather bed topper, full bath, sitting area, and an office space. Downstairs has a cozy living space, well stocked kitchen, sofa bed, and additional full bath. Lots of privacy for two couples or family members. Each story is over 500sf and filled with light from the abundance of windows. There's off street parking and it's an easy walk to downtown!
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a sofa bed.

It really is a quiet and peaceful cottage. Very cozy and well thought out. Small but well equipped kitchen. Lovey private back garden. The upstairs is very spacious with sitting area, extremely comfortable bed and an extra space that has a desk, many books, and a record player with tons of records. Communication with the host was excellent. I will definitely book again when in Ashland!

Lovely cottage and accommodating host

The cottage is tucked away from the main road, so it was very private. The back yard is welcoming and perfect for small outdoor gatherings. The check-in and check-out were a breeze and Arnica is very easy to communicate with. Next time we go to Ashland, we'll want to stay again.

I loved this property! It was so charming and quiet. Our host was helpful and welcoming and made it easy for us to move in. The cottage was very convenient for shopping and attending the theater in Ashland. I traveled with three other adults and despite only having one bedroom it was quite possible for four adults to sleep comfortably. We traveled with a dog and the host made this very welcome environment to us and our pets. It was also great that there is a lovely little shady park only about a block away. I look forward to staying here again the next time I am in Ashland. I highly recommend this property!

Had a great stay in this Ashland cottage. Perfect size for 2. Had everything one could need. Lots of extra linens, nice plush towels. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, dishes, etc. Upstairs bed super comfy. Slept like a baby! Backyard is beautiful! Nice and shady, great hammock. Location is easy walk to downtown. I felt that everything was well thought out and had everything we needed and then some for our 2 night stay. My daughter and her husband stayed upstairs and were pleasantly surprised with the working turntable and great selection of LPs. I loved the patio and location close to parks, restaurants and shopping. In case you're concerned, the pull out bed with the foam pad on top was fine (I'm 70)

I loved the record collection and turntable so much! So many old favorites. That was a highlight, but really- this place is so charming. Vintage furniture mixed with functional appliances, great outside spaces. The bed was heavenly. Quiet enough at night I could hear a Great Horned Owl calling from nearby.

Wonderful home in a great location

We stayed a month in Arnica’s lovely home. It is a five minute walk to Safeway and fifteen minutes to downtown, the Shakespeare Festival and Lithia Park. The house was clean, with a very comfortable bed upstairs and two air conditioners that cooled the house well during hot days. The kitchen was great for cooking most meals and we used the grill on the patio extensively. We had coffee and breakfast, as well as wine in the afternoon, on the patio. Our dog appreciated the fenced in yard so he could watch squirrels and neighborhood cats. We would certainly stay here again!

Perfect for guests with dogs

The home is a charming cottage, and the yard is securely fenced. Our two dogs enjoyed the view from the upstairs deck and romping in Triangle Park an easy walk away. It really helped our high-strung border collie to have an entire house and yard to ourselves. The host provided all the basics in the kitchen and bathrooms. We appreciated the gas fireplace, desk, and record collection upstairs, and the board games and television downstairs. For sleeping, there is a queen sized bed upstairs, a sofa bed downstairs, and a twin size futon (stored under the desk upstairs). We will definitely stay here again if we return to Ashland with our pets.
