Communication was terrible. I made reservation for the wrong date (intended July, made for January due to some Orbitz date picker issue). I saw the room charge on the check-in date and contacted them to get it changed. First said they couldn't, then that they did but it would cost more. I asked how much and got no answer. In short, never stayed, got charged, and may have another date "on the books" that I won't be using. No idea how anything else is because I'm not due to be there for another 6 months.

The room was nice but could use better lighting, we were missing a lamp on one of the night stands when i brought this to their attention i was told they had multiple broken lamps and no replacement everyone was friendly but disorganized also not all the wall outlets were working was difficult to charge cell phones, ipads etc also leaving the sliding door open to enjoy the ocean was difficult due to the excessive smell of weed being smoked in and around the resort.

From the moment we checked in until check out we felt very welcome and the hospitality was very sincere. Preston was the check in guy and he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The room was great....except for the filthy filter in the room unit and the main building fan unit that was going out. It kept us awake all night (both nights). When we notified the front desk, they offered to move us to another room. All well and good had we been staying more than one more night. However, we did not want to spend what time we were there packing and unpacking again. The lady we spoke to was so sweet. She said the manager said he would offer us a refund, (finding out he couldn't as we booked 3rd party) but then we were told he would award us points as Choice members. In the end, he didn't even do that!!!! We have stayed in many different hotels - some booked directly, others 3rd party. All have said they have the option of awarding points to members. Very disappointed. We thought we had found our new favorite beach destination. The front line workers, i.e., front desk and breakfast room, were exceptional. Too bad the management didn't take care of their guests the same way.

Loved the time spent here for Christmas with my family. The heated pool, complimentary breakfast/soup, staff, koi pond, the deck, access to beach was all 10/10. The pool was clean and warm, which was awesome. The down side to our room- the bed frame stuck out quite further than the bed leave sharp corners exposed so they were ran into quite frequently and our bed sheets were ripped.

The property was very clean, as was the room. The staff was helpful and quick to respond to a concern. The electricity went out due to a storm, and we were stack in the elevator for just maybe two minutes, if even that. Great place to stay. I have stayed here for 12 years and will continue to do so in the future.
