It is an older hotel. But was very clean (except the balcony). The office staff was fantastic, extra kudos to the night shift. Sorry didn't get her name. Bed was very comfortable and it was very relaxing sitting on the balcony after a long drive. I gave it overall 5 stars, can't beat the price.

What an unexpected gem on my drive from SF to Seattle. Great check-in, gift bag for the pup, clean room with comfy bed, easy back area to let Lolapup play and relieve herself, and all for just north of $100. Also a quick walk to historic Roseburg and McMenamins kitchen stays open till 10p! I will return on my way back through!

My stay at the Riverfront Inn, Roseburg, was acceptable but I want to share three somewhat minor flaws that cumulatively made my experience disappointing. First, my room was three flights of stairs up, with no elevator, so I was already a little grumpy about that I guess. Next, it was a very hot day, yet the room air conditioner was not turned on! Again, it being on the top floor where the heat really gathers, it took a couple hours to make the room tolerably comfortable. In my experience, it is standard procedure to keep the rooms at a comfortable temperature before the guest arrives, especially when the motel is sold out, as it was that night. Finally, while there was a small desk in my room, there was absolutely no electricity nearby, so I could not charge my laptop while using it.

The room we stayed in was huge. Customer service was friendly, efficient and great. Room was clean, but a bit dated. Floors looked great. Wish they had smart tvs, but otherwise, everything was as listed and quiet.

Only had a weekend to celebrate anniversary. Searched place within 3 hrs of portland. This was the lease expensive and rarely go to Roseburg area. From description and pictures, it seemed to be a quiet and serene area. The room was quiet even though it appeared to be a two room suite with people next door. Bed/pillows were very comfy. Would stay here again.
