I don't know why this hotel got high ratings on Orbitz. I picked it because of those ratings and was quite disappointed. 1. It's not Riverfront. There may be a river several hundred feet away, hidden behind vegetation, but it is not visable or audible from the hotel property. 2. The thermostat was set on a fixed temperature and the controls to change it were broken. 3. The TV was incomprehensible. The Channel Guide was not indicated on the remote. When I finally found the guide, the numbers didn't match. It was impossible to find or select anything. 4. The hot water was warm enough to shower in, but just barely. 5. The free breakfast was skimpy and occupied a total of about 5 feet of counter space. Good things: Wifi was fine. Check-in clerk was great. Towels were great. Everything else was fine/good (bed, bathroom, lights, access, etc.)

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even the staff off duty made sure to smile and greet you. The walkways and the garden areas near the river were amazing while we were there. We saw deer several times. It was a very relaxing atmosphere they even had a pool, but we didn’t have a chance to use it.

It was a 95 degree day and our air conditioner was not working! It was horrible! The staff was very nice and felt bad because they acknowledged that the room was too hot. The hotel was totally booked so they couldn't get us in a different room so we had to go to a different hotel. I'm hoping and expecting a full refund. Let's hope the hotel is understanding and will be able to do this for us.

Looks better than advertised

The pictures make it look better than what it is. The only good thing that stayed true was the view off the back balcony which was good, but my wife and I could barely sleep because the bed was so stiff

We stayed in a family, 3 bed room for a quick overnight while on a road trip. The room was okay, dated, but appeared clean. It had a huge balcony which had a few chairs. The bathroom was not great. Bathtub drain was clogged with hair, caulk, shower curtain and grout stained with mold. It gave us all the creeps. The breakfast area is tiny and pretty much serves on person at a time. Coffee, toast and bagels, cereal, yogurt. Clean and basic. The property has so much potential, right on the river.
