Embassy Suites Hotel Winston-Salem

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

We enjoyed our stay at the Winston-Salem Embassy Suites. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and welcoming. A few small things that would have made our stay better are: a bigger pool, less humidity in the hotel room (I found it slightly musty but my family wasn't bothered by it), less construction noise - not much you can do about that when the building next door is getting renovated. That being said, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Embassy Suites to any friends going to Winston-Salem.

Rooms were clean, Staff was friendly. Got the job done

got upgraded to the premium floor, to a huge suite--nice! great room, great location, walking distance to plenty to eat, see and do. ONLY NEGATIVE: BED WAS HORRIBLE!!! King sized that had housed a large person directly in the middle for many years, so that when two people attempted to lay on their respective sides, they rolled straight to the center, where they thrashed about in an effort to climb out of the crater. WOW... when we got an upgrade to a top-floor suite, I assumed the bed would match the room quality and other amenities, but not hardly. Otherwise, no complaints, really!

Although a bit run down and shabby, the room was huge, the A/C worked and the staff was nice. Hotel coffee was bad, but Starbucks onsite was good. Close to great food and Wake Forest University

Very convenient. Close to the celebration. Staff were very friendly and willing to help. Check in and out was very easy. Will stay there again.

we found the bar was not up to the standard of others in the area, besides that the hotel was fine

Hotel was ok. Staff were very friendly. Biggest complaint was that usually at Embassy Suites, in my experience at least, the happy hour/snack area is in the main atrium and it is kind of fun to sit and people watch. In this one, though for some reason, all of that is in this somewhat dingy basement area and the atrium is completely empty--no chairs, tables, couches or anything, which was kind of weird by itself.

friendly and helpful staff. Large rooms (suites). Need better decor.

We had a great stay. from the welcome desk to the Valet parking. the rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were HUGE :) The pool was clean and relaxing. Beds were cumfy and pillows fluffy yet not too soft. :) the breakfast was wonderful too. i only wish we could have stayed longer :)

We are Florida residents and decided to spend a couple days at the Embassy Suites away from the family after busy holiday. Hotel was very cozy after having a White Christmas in Winston-Salem. Room was huge and emaculate, breakfast was fantastic - cooked to order, the staff was superb and rates were great! I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks Embassy Suites.
