we didn't actually stay at the inn. we bought the weekend for our daughter and her family. they enjoyed the inn very much.

Rooms were a little smaller than pictured but very newly renovated and clean. We stayed in a ground floor patio room. Very close to neighboring guests. If you like to get to know your neighbor this is a place for you.

It was in a great location within walking distance to downtown and food options around. Great views and the rooms were very nice. Highly recommend this hotel if visiting Leavenworth, Washington.

Loved everything. 💯👍

The Blue Elk Inn was perfect for our weekend stay. It is within walking distance of downtown Leavenworth - you can walk on the main road on the sidewalk or through Enchantment Park. It was beautiful! The Inn itself is nice with a lovely area to spend time outdoors, both in front and behind the inn. We spent some time at the pool (reservations needed for covid restrictions, which was easy to do!). The staff was friendly to both us and our pup, and their complimentary treats and toy for our puppy was a really nice touch. We would definitely stay here again if/when we go back to Leavenworth!

The property is beautiful and about a 15-20 minute walk to town (so pretty close). The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had a loud dog barking next door, which they were persistent in calling the owners to resolve the issue.

Close enough to downtown, but far enough away to be quite.

Nice new fresh decor. Rooms are small, no microwave in room, and no place/table for laptop workstation. No place to eat delivered breakfast. Staff is very polite w great service. We had to change rooms due to poor Wi-Fi signal.

We really enjoyed our stay. I love when a place carries a theme well. The hotel was thoughtfully decorated throughout guest common areas, from the rustic beams on the ceilings to the giant elk on the wall. Bavarian art pieces were hung on the wall and they even had a cute little children’s story book at the front desk for littles. Walking around the hotel, the art work throughout had blue elks in many of the nature scapes on the walls. Social distancing was easily maintained by both staff and guests alike, though it didn’t interfere with the kind and courteous manner with which we interacted with everyone. We enjoyed private time slots at the pool and spa, star gazing in the evening after a fun round of horseshoes or a long day of walking around town. We preferred walking, but they also offered complementary bikes and helmets, if preferred). We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit, but they were ready with firewood and s’mores fixings ($). The clean, freshly renovated room had super nice finishes, tasteful art work (with a blue elk) a gas fireplace and shared deck that overlooked the pool/grounds. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable & clean. Did I mention how CLEAN, this place is! The only things that could be improved upon include, screen on the window; to let the fall mountain air in our room. The older A/C unit was loud. & better lighting in the vanity area. We loved it so much we added another night and we plan to make this our go-to when we visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Elk. The staff was kind and accommodating for anything we might need. Our room was perfect and very clean. All the extra steps taken because of COVID were greatly appreciated. We can't wait to come back again.

Very unique building, serene location, cozy rooms. The floors are thin and unfortunately I could hear the family with 4 kids running around shaking the walls of my room. Other than that I would've loved my stay.

We really appreciated enjoying the hearty breakfast out on the dog friendly patio. DVDs free to rent were a nice touch too. Everything else you'd expect was top-notch!

Very quiet setting but still close to downtown with a nice patio and yard area in the back.

Loved tea service in the morning and breakfast was excellent!!!!!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice grounds, big deck to hang out on. Close to river trail for walking or bike riding. They have bikes for use by guests for free. Great breakfast spread, not quite the full Bavarian spread but much better than typical US hotels.
