One of the most gorgeous properties available on the Columbia River. The facilities were top notch, and the staff were very professional, polite, and helpful!

We showed up at 5pm, an hour after check in. We did not get a room until 7:30pm. My wife had to get ready in a pool locker room for a wedding she was in due to this. We did not receive clean towels or a room cleaning for our entire stay. We asked for this to be done three separate times in one day. Still nothing. I asked for a late check out due to this, we were told no. When I advised the staff of how terrible this was for us we received a simple apology and were asked to have a safe trip home. Very disappointed in this experience.

Returning customer. And i was super bummbed their outside pool/tub was out of service. This is by far a must visit destination and the pool is a must.

The resort hag nice walking trails as advertised and the restaurants had good food.

The ambiance of the hotel was superb! The restaurant was classy & wait staff were very pleasant. The grounds were beautiful. But most breathtaking was the views of the Columbia Gorge. We were there for our anniversary and booked massages in the spa. They were well done and relaxing. Kudos to the massage therapist named Sandy. Highly recommend her.

This hotel was in a beautiful location! There a lots of activities on and off property. We did the arial park and had a great time!

We enjoy everything about this hotel!!! We love all the amenities and activities the hotel offers... we love coming here each season to enjoy all the different things the hotel has going on.

it was a very nice experience but felt it didn't meet expectation for the high prices.

The hotel is nestled in a great location with crazy good views. The hotel rooms them selves do t take very good advantage of the views, small windows and not many rooms have balconys. The Restraunt is not good which means you have to suffer with mediocre to bad food or take a drive to Stevenson or hood river for an ice meal. Example we had the magarita pizza which was under cooked and had pools of balsamic dressing on it, when I brought it to our servers attention he gave me a 20% discount on the salad we ordered ( which was $5 cheaper) lame. On a good note the golf course is great and you can book a time on golfnow for $20. My suggestion is stay at Carson luxury cabins and play golf at skamania resort

We loved staying at the lodge where you could go and explore outside or stay within the lodge itself. The golf course is beautiful and tough. The zip line adventure is a "must" and the guides are extremely professional and full of personality. The lodge staff was very accommodating and helpful. We traveled back and forth to see Mt. Hood, the waterfalls, etc. and there was no place we wanted to be other than back at the lodge for the night where our room was very comfortable with a great view of the gorge. We would highly recommend staying here.

All of the staff we dealt with were excellent, customer service definitely a priority.

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing outdoor space to sit and enjoy view of mtns and river, gorgeous lodge and wonderful, smiling staff, helpful too. Quiet rooms, comfortable, clean beds, nice toiletries that are available to purchase in gift shop. Wonderful and delicious food in restaurants, good service, fun atmosphere. Nice spa and pool, clean. Great hiking around area. Easy, accessible parking, zip line tours available.

The view is beautiful. The spa is booked out two weeks, so if this trip is spontaneous, don't bother. The room and the food are overpriced, but both are adequate. In the future, I will stay at the Hampton in or Best Western in Hood River. Great views and have the amenities of Hood River available.

It was expensive but worth it. A very nice to place celebrate special occasions.

It was a decent hotel. Not extremely fancy, but better than most.

We were given a small, noisy, room overlooking the parking lot even though the hotel was not full. Not worth $250 a night. Limited dinner options in restaurant and decided to go off property to eat.

It was a great time, didn't know about the Lodge fee of $25.00, but overall staff and room was great! Had a wonderful time! Restaurant closed way too early on Sat. Night.

Fabulous views of gorge and close to great hiking and other outdoor activities. The brunch and other food in the dining room was amazing.

Loved our stay here! The outdoor hot tub was open til 11 (no kids after 8) and the views were awesome! We paid a little extra to have a room with a view, and it was definitely worth it. There's a golf course and zip lining on premises, and 2 restaurants. Super friendly staff! Only wish they had free breakfast! We've stayed at some much cheaper hotels that have had free breakfast and it's just nice to save some money on breakfast. Especially when your doing a road trip like we were.

The biggest let down was some stained towels and bedding in the room. I know white is hard to keep clean...but it was disturbing. Also, the food in the Cascade Room wasn't always warm from the buffet. It was tasty but could have been kept hotter. The only other thing was a bug crawling on my neck that woke me up. I get we are in the "woods" so I understand they can come inside on clothes/shoes, etc. but it still scared the daylights out of me. The room itself was comfortable. I loved that you could open the window and have fresh air. The fireplace in the lobby was heavenly to sit by. The staff is so helpful and nice. The food from room service was the BEST. We got it on the last day - had we known it would be that good we probably wouldn't have ventured down to the dining rooms. All in all, a worthwhile getaway. The best part was ziplining right there from the lodge. We LOVED it!
