They were putting on a new roof and there was a lot of debris in the outdoor spa (which is one of the main highlights of this property and a reason that has had me as a repeat customer). The once famous salmon chowder is but a shadow of it's former self (watery and lacking salmon). The food at Cascades has taken a serious turn for the worse. I have been a regular here since it's opening in 1993 but not sure I will be returning any time soon.

always wanted to stay here and have a spa night. got there and was told hot tubs and pools were closed for maintenance and the spa was fully booked, then was charged a resort fee even tho there was nothing open on the resort end. was just very disappointed overall about everything.

Beautiful views

Lovely stay :)

The area is breathtakingly beautiful. Rooms are nice if a bit overheated. You can easily walk to downtown Stevenson, which has a nice waterfront. The food at the Cascade restaurant was overpriced and basic, with poor presentation. Covid measures were not taken seriously. Plenty of people without masks inside. The receptionist kept her mask under her nose constantly during check out and check in. Definitely not a Covid-safe place.

Good clean property, we spent most of our time In the pool, outside was raining. Beautiful view of the Columbia river

Beautiful area, impressive grounds, nice lobby area. Reception staff was rude and under trained in customer service. View from room was not as expected for the price. Pricing was equivalent to 4 star hotel but service was 2 star at best.

The property is clean and lots to do. Downside is the cost.

Amazing views and accommodations. The food and drinks were great. The fire pits outside are a great option for chilly nights. Highly recommended for short or extended stays for familes or couples!

Beautiful well-kept grounds wide open area beautiful view of the Columbia river very inviting fire pit and comfortable seating outside and inside by the fireplace

View was great! Unavailability of dining and no prewarning or guidance of alternatives was upsetting.

One of the most gorgeous properties available on the Columbia River. The facilities were top notch, and the staff were very professional, polite, and helpful!

We showed up at 5pm, an hour after check in. We did not get a room until 7:30pm. My wife had to get ready in a pool locker room for a wedding she was in due to this. We did not receive clean towels or a room cleaning for our entire stay. We asked for this to be done three separate times in one day. Still nothing. I asked for a late check out due to this, we were told no. When I advised the staff of how terrible this was for us we received a simple apology and were asked to have a safe trip home. Very disappointed in this experience.

Returning customer. And i was super bummbed their outside pool/tub was out of service. This is by far a must visit destination and the pool is a must.

The resort hag nice walking trails as advertised and the restaurants had good food.

The ambiance of the hotel was superb! The restaurant was classy & wait staff were very pleasant. The grounds were beautiful. But most breathtaking was the views of the Columbia Gorge. We were there for our anniversary and booked massages in the spa. They were well done and relaxing. Kudos to the massage therapist named Sandy. Highly recommend her.

This hotel was in a beautiful location! There a lots of activities on and off property. We did the arial park and had a great time!

We enjoy everything about this hotel!!! We love all the amenities and activities the hotel offers... we love coming here each season to enjoy all the different things the hotel has going on.
