It’s very huge we didn’t explore the whole resort even we stayed for 2 days due to unpredictable weather. Staffs are very friendly and accomodating. The heated pool was only by reservation basis so we didn’t max our time to use it still we enjoyed our stay we will be back again next time

Love outdoor heated pool and beautiful view. Staff are nice and friendly. Great customer service. Short walking distance to sleigh and play with snow. My family felt in love for first time. We will be back.

You have to book the pool and often, it is booked when you want to go. Housekeeping is not very responsive. We had to call for toilet paper and it never came, we went to front desk, and it wasn't delivered. Same with towels and shampoo. Customer service from restaurant is on the low end too.

Loved the view of the river and mountains, the food was excellent and staff very helpful.

This is such a gorgeous property, the staff is so nice an attentive, and there is so much to do right there!

Had a good time. We had some problem with the freezer and they only had one frying to cook with.

The Lodge at Suncadia is a fantastic building with lovely valley views. Our room was very comfortable, especially the bed, but their heating/cooling system was running - LOUD - all night, with no way to turn it off. It even caused a whistling noise at the room door. In addition, the bright menu screen on the 'smart' microwave oven kept turning on, shining directly into the bedroom. I finally hung several towels over the screen. The worst experience was the food in the Portals restaurant. Apparently during 'shoulder' season, they're OK with serving 4 - 5 day-old food . . nothing fresh. Very disappointing for such an otherwise outstanding resort.

Very nice.. even with the jolly mountain wild fire only a few miles away

Had a great time. Lots to do in the winter. Room not ready on time after noon time precheck in. Room not very clean. Hot tub steps not cleared of snow. Overall great time

We loved our stay at The Lodge at Suncadia. Five stars!

Wonderful view of the river. Very peacefull. I would love to bring our kids next time.

Excellent getaway. Close to Seattle. Top notch facilities and very friendly staff.

The room was very dirty with hair and dust on every corner. Also the amenities are not in place so I asked for the soap. Also the front desk agent is not really helpful at all. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my friend.

The place was great, very neat. Service was great too. The best thing was the location and the scenic view add to that the live music against the fire in the evening!

Great New Year's family getaway close to Seattle. Hotel staff was friendly and we enjoyed many of the amenities offered.

I read similar reviews ahead of time, but didn't think much of it. Well, those reviews exist for a reason. I pre-payed for the room at the time of booking. I was told that all I owed at check-out was the $25 resort fee. Considering the price of the rooms I have a bit of an issue with an additional "resort fee", but at least I was aware of it going into the trip. When I checked in I was asked for a credit card because they didn't yet have one on file due to the fact I reserved the room on a third-party website. They needed a CC to put a hold on the room and for incidentals. I presented a debit card (big mistake, yes), and I was told I would see of charge of $110 for incidentals, but that it would be cleared after 5-10 business days. I was fine with that, as $110 isn't that much. So I signed an authorization form for that amount. I was told by the front desk staff that any charges at the restaurants/spa of up to that amount would come directly from that, and I would obviously be responsible for any overages. During our stay we visited the Fifty Six Degrees Lounge and Portals Restaurant. Upon checking out I received a final bill that represented the $110 charge for incidentals plus the additional amount spent at the lounge and restaurant the night before. Later that day my bank account was hit with not one, but three separate charges totaling hundreds of dollars more than the bill I had received. When I called and talked to two separate individuals, I was informed these were all charges for incidentals. I asked why I wasn't informed of this when I had specifically authorized only one charge, and I was simply told that I should have been. Lovely! After calling back later and speaking to a manager to voice my frustration, I was told they had a way to get the incidental charges cleared faster. I asked her to do that and to please call me back. Then, later that evening my bank account was charged for the price of the room (which I had pre-payed for)! So not only did I not receive any credits, I actually got double charged for the room! Days passed and I didn't receive a call back, so I phoned them again and asked them to explain what was going on. I spoke to another person at the front desk who said I would be receiving a refund for the amount I was double charged for the room, and that the incidentals "should eventually clear." Again, days passed and I received no refund. I called my bank and they said they saw no refund activity from that merchant. Unreal!! This ordeal is still ongoing with no clear resolution. Simply put, it is a beautiful resort with breath-taking views. However, the experience is not worth the aggravation of dealing with the fall-out of all the hidden fees and blind, fraudulent charges. It was made worse by a staff (I talked to 3-4 different people, plus a manager) that seemed completely indifferent to my grievances. Not one offer of compensation for the trouble, and minimal apologies. Clearly this sort of thing happens all the time. We have to go back for a wedding in the spring, but we have already decided will be getting a motel in Cle Elum. It's just not worth it. If you stay here, definitely use a credit card and make sure to ask for a clear explanation of what you are signing for. If you don't, they will take advantage of you!
