Great visit Planing to visit in summer again

The s'mores was great.

Loved the location... beautiful! Front desk staff was more than helpful. Loved being able to walk right out onto the beach from our room. We were there attending a wedding that we traveled 3000miles for. The man working security the night of the fourth of October should be fired and sent back to hospitality school! Feel sorry for the bride and groom that had to deal with him on their wedding day.

Very nice resort, staff was great and the food was excellent. Hope to stay here again.

Stayed here for 32nd wedding anniversary. Hotel staff very accommodating in providing a beautiful King Suite facing water. Lovely view and well kept suite with every amenity including a fridge, a keurig, but sadly no microwave. That's the only thing that prevented a 5 star rating as the only microwave available was in the downstairs lobby. Otherwise it wonderful amenities including spa, pool, full-size weight room with indoor track, indoor/outdoor pool, indoor & outdoor tennis & basketball courts, small movie theatre, plus 2 great restaurants and lovely views. Would definitely recommend to friends.

We came here for a business outing. Hadn't been here in years. Except for the parking lot view, our room was very comfortable. Loved the bed. The food at Pierside was very good, and we loved the waitstaff. I would come back in a heartbeat.

We ended up in Bellingham on a busy college weekend without hotel reservations. Our usual stop there (Hampton Inn by the airport) had no rooms, likewise any other hotel in Bellingham. We were able to get a room at Semiahmoo. We checked in, were given keys. When we opened the room, it was apparent immediately that something was amiss. There was a dry vac in the entry to the bathroom, and when we looked in the bathroom! The drywall was falling off the wall and the toilet had been removed and was in the bathtub! It was obvious the room was uninhabitable and we dragged our luggage back to the lobby. The desk clerk, seeing us return so quickly, asked if there was a problem. When I said,"Yes! The toilet is in the bathtub!" , she simply said, "Oh" and gave us keys to another room -- no apology, no explanation, nothing. We dragged our luggage upstairs once more. This room was habitable, but the door to the armoire in the room and the door to the safe inside both swung open every time we walked past!. Rather than calling the front desk from whom we had received such lukewarm attention, we used one of my hair elastic bands to "bungee" the door closed during our stay. Another disappointment was the bathtub itself -- a standard, shallow tub, unsuitable for soaking. The Hampton Inn, at $160 a night, has a deep soaking tub. I would expect a "resort and spa" charging $264 a night to have a tub in which spa products such as bath salts could be used. Don't waste your money.

We had a wonderful stay here to celebrate our Anniversary!! The hotel even suprised us with a bottle of wine to celebrate. This was our first time here, but we will be back for sure.

Wooden building is old and kids running up and down halls can be heard easily inside the rooms. Driveway facing rooms noisy with people (including staff) talking outside the window during sleeping hours. Noisy beeping maintenance machines going by at 8 AM. Banquet food is marginal. Restaurant views are fantastic. $200 per night a lot for a three star (in my opinion) hotel.

The location is beautiful, the drive is amazing because of the landscapes and views. They charged me twice because I reserved online and it took them like a week to give my money back,

The hotel experience was great. We will definitely stay there again If we go back to Blaine. Hopefully we get to go during off season too. Save extra money!!!

This was my third trip this year. In March, I went with my Daughter for our birthdays. In April, I went with my Husband for my birthday. In August, I went with Girlfriend for her birthday. Each time the experience was wonderful. The first two times the restaurants had not been finished and were not open. But, the resort did a wonderful job of providing meals, including bar AND brunch each day! This third time I went the new restaurants were open and my Girlfriend and I did enjoy the brunch in the Pierside Kitchen. However, our late (8pm) meal at Packers Oyster Bar on Saturday evening was a disappointment. The "Crispy" Calamari was barely warm and not crispy by the time we rec'd it at our table AND the "special" Crab Saute had WAY too much vinegary taste for me. Also, we chose to sit outside. When we walked in there was no hostess to greet us, no sign that said wait here for a table, so we walked through to the other side and out the "other entrance" to the table we saw outside. THEN a waitress came and told us that "NORMALLY" you are to wait at the "entrance" (which there are three entrance doors to the Bar) for the hostess to seat you because there may be others waiting for an outside table. We told her no one was there and there was no sign.at ANY of the "entrances". The rooms are comfortable, but this time there was a ticking sound from the HVAC Unit that kept my Girlfriend awake all night. I did not hear a thing and slept on those wonderful beds like a little kid. We had spa services and you really must try the Body Scrub and Facial with Denae. She is INCREDIBLE. The spa and pool and recreation area is really nice, kept VERY clean. LOVE the steam and dry saunas. GREAT place for girl's getaway (including Mother/Daughter Time) AND Couples AND Families. Something to do for everybody.

Great property, amazing location. So DISAPPOINTED though that the spa closed a 9pm. We walked passed the staff at 845 (in our spa robs) and they gave us directions to the spa, but failed to mention it closed at 9pm. Also, the hot water in the room took a VERY long time to come through the taps or shower.

My family was really looking forward to staying here but we were disappointed. My kids were upset the pool was closed during our stay. The room was not clean (sunflower seeds, candy, paper bits on the floor), we had no hot water (did not know until the next morning), shower was broken, sink was leaking on the floor, the fridge froze all of our food and drinks. Not what you expect for what you pay here! I told 2 staff members but both did not seem to care. Then they still charged me the resort fee!

Hello Rooney, We're elated your 3,000-mile journey brought you to our pristine beaches and abundance of tranquility! Hearing that a member of our security provided anything less than exceptional service is very concerning. We sincerely apologize for any discomfort or inconveniences you experienced and will be looking into this concern right away. We hope your travels bring you through our door in the future; we'd love to show you how amazing a stay with us should always be.
