My stay was for 4 nights. Got there after an 8 hour drive, only to find that they were overbooked, and apparently having a reservation was meaningless at that moment. The night manager was unable to resolve it, I ended up finding another hotel about 30 min away. But they resolved it the next day and comped one of my night's. It’s convenient and a bargain in that location. Recently remodeled. But parking is expensive and if you have a truck you can only park on the first level and while they have good signage, people take the spots reserved for tall vehicles. Overall, I’d recommend the place.
Convenient, comfortable and reasonable value.
Nice and clean Hotel with friendly Staff
Quick check in, friendly staff, quiet and clean rooms, good food at the restaurant. Would stay here again.
Room 1004 the lounge chair was filthy. The person at registration ignored me for about 8 mins.
The staff was friendly but didn’t explain that construction was going on the garage so it was very frustrating to try to find parking on a busy street. Only one elevator was working so it was a very long wait to get to &!from your room
NEVER RECOMMEND, PLEASE! Bathroom design many stupid flaws. Parking garage awful. My first ever complaint!!
Perfecto
It is a nice hotel, but definitely has its cons. The parking is terrible and expensive, especially if you have an SUV. Housekeeping did not come once to the room to clean or restock anything our entire stay, my husband called the front desk for extra towels and it took them two hours to bring it. The elevators are terrible and small, expect a definite 5-10 minute elevator ride each time you get on. The elevator will literally skip your floor and go the complete opposite direction! The location and atmosphere of the hotel is definitely nice, but it could definitely use some improvement in some areas!
Female front desk staff needs customer service training they are mean.
Across the street was public parking which was very inexpensive since overnight was free and the weekends were free.
The front desk personnel was completely incompetent and useless. One of the attendants wrote the wrong room number on the room key covers and did not explain the parking policy. When I came down to enquire what was wrong, the other attendant was not apologetic at all, it almost looked that they are used to these kind of situation all the time. There was no effort to provide any additional information unless I specifically asked for it. Moreover, the information provided was inaccurate, even when I double-checked the next morning with the third attendant. I had a feeling they either did not have a clue what was going on the property or they just did not care. If you are going to stay at the Bethesdan Hotel any time soon, watch out and be ready for some run arounds!
Very comfortable and convenient.
